Okay, so maybe Family Guy didn't actually get sucked into Disney Plus. But Season 20, Episode 10, "Mister Act," sure did a hilarious job of pretending it did! It's a wild ride where Peter gets a little too into theater, and the whole thing spirals into a send-up of... well, everything Disney.
The episode centers on Peter, predictably, making a mess of things. He takes an improv class and, emboldened by a fleeting moment of praise, decides he's destined for Broadway. You know, the typical Peter Griffin ambition.

The Griffins find themselves involved in a local production. The play is a thinly veiled parody of Disney’s "The Sound of Music." It’s complete with ridiculously saccharine songs and overly dramatic storylines.

Their interactions offer a welcome contrast to Peter’s outlandish behavior. It helps ground the episode in some semblance of reality. Which is saying something, considering we're talking about Family Guy.

“Mister Act” is a standout episode from Season 20. It delivers the show’s signature blend of irreverent humor and pop culture satire. Even if you’re not a huge fan of musicals, you’ll still find plenty to laugh at. The Disney digs are on point.
