Today, we're diving into something a little... controversial. Specifically, Cana Alberona using Fairy Glitter during the games.

Cana, our favorite hard-drinking card mage, suddenly wielding one of Fairy Tail's Three Great Fairy Spells? It was a surprise, to say the least.

We're used to seeing her pull out fortunes and summoning cards. Fairy Glitter felt a bit... out of character, didn't it?

Don't get me wrong, I love Cana. But was it the right choice for her to use that particular spell?

Fairy Glitter is a big deal. It's supposed to be super powerful, passed down through generations.

It was entrusted to Cana by Mavis Vermillion herself. Talk about pressure!

But here's my unpopular opinion: Fairy Glitter felt wasted on Cana during that specific moment.

Let's remember the scene. Cana was up against someone...forgettable. Seriously, I had to Google it.

It was vs Laxus Dreyar's statues. A pretty tough challenge. But let's be honest, Laxus is an S class mage.

And the actual use of Fairy Glitter? It felt...underwhelming.

The spell did win the match, sure. But was it the epic, game-changing moment it should have been?

I think not. It felt like using a bazooka to swat a fly. Or maybe a slightly tougher mosquito.

Maybe it's a testament to the spell's power that it could do the job easily. But it didn't wow me.

Imagine Erza Scarlet wielding Fairy Glitter against Minerva. Now that would have been epic!

Or perhaps Natsu Dragneel using it to finally surpass Laxus. The possibilities!

Granted, those characters didn't have access to the spell. But the potential for awesome was there.

Cana is fantastic at support and strategy. Her cards are incredibly versatile. She could gather clues.

She helped find the hidden Fairy Tail members on Tenrou Island. Also, helped guide the crew in Edolas.

Why did she need a nuke of a spell when she already had her own unique talents?

Fairy Glitter deserved a moment where it could truly shine. A battle against a worthy opponent.

A situation where the fate of Fairy Tail, or even the world, hung in the balance.

Instead, it got...card statues. Sorry, Cana.

This isn't to say Cana is a bad character. She's great! I love her wit and her dedication to her friends.

It's just that Fairy Glitter's debut felt a little...misplaced. A missed opportunity.
