Episode 8 Of Attack On Titan Season 4

Okay, Let's Talk About That Attack on Titan Episode
Season 4, Episode 8. "Assassin's Bullet." You know the one. The feels hit hard, didn't they? But I have a confession… I kinda enjoyed it. Maybe even... loved it? Don't throw tomatoes yet!
The Calm Before the Storm... of Tears
Remember how things were… relatively chill at the beginning? Falco was all worried about Gabi. Colt was trying to be the responsible older brother. It felt like a normal day, almost. Emphasis on almost.
Then, BAM! Eren shows up. And things go south. Fast. My stomach dropped faster than Eren from a rooftop.
Must Read
Sasha's Exit: Did Anyone Not Cry?
Okay, real talk. Sasha Braus dying? Traumatic. Heartbreaking. A punch to the gut. But hear me out.
It was also...good storytelling? I know, I know, heresy! But think about it. War has consequences. And sometimes, those consequences are unfair and brutal.
Sasha was a beloved character. Her death was a stark reminder that nobody is safe. And that’s kind of the point of Attack on Titan, right?

Gabi: The Scapegoat We All Love to Hate
Gabi. Oh, Gabi. Public Enemy Number One after that fateful shot. Look, I get it. She killed Sasha. We're all angry.
But let's be honest, she's also a product of her environment. Brainwashed, yes. But also a child soldier caught in a horrific war. Maybe, just maybe, she deserves a tiny bit of understanding? Unpopular opinion, I know!
I mean, are we really surprised she acted the way she did? She was raised to believe Eldians were devils. Cut her some slack, people (but not too much, because, you know, Sasha!).

Eren: Hero or Villain? Still Confused
And then there's Eren. What a mess. Every episode, I'm more confused about whether he’s a hero or the ultimate bad guy. Probably both.
In this episode, he’s just… there. Brooding. Planning. Being generally mysterious. It's peak Eren, really.
He clearly has a plan. But is it a good plan? A terrible plan? A plan that will ultimately doom everyone? Tune in next week to find out...probably!

The Animation: Chef's Kiss!
Let's not forget the animation! The action sequences were incredible. The emotional close-ups were gut-wrenching.
MAPPA really delivered. The fight scenes were fluid and impactful. You could feel the weight of every blow.
And the expressions on the characters' faces? Top-notch. Especially after Sasha's incident. So much pain captured in a single frame.

Final Thoughts: A Rollercoaster of Emotions
So, yeah. Episode 8 was a lot. It was sad. It was shocking. It was intense. But it was also… great television.
It pushed the story forward. It made us question our loyalties. And it made us reach for the tissues. What more could you want from an episode of Attack on Titan?
Don't hate me for liking it! It's just my opinion. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go rewatch it and cry some more...for research purposes, of course.
