Episode 6 Of The Promised Neverland Season 2

Okay, let's talk about The Promised Neverland Season 2. Specifically, Episode 6.
I know, I know. Season 2 is… a topic. But hear me out.
Episode 6: An Unpopular Opinion
Look, I'm not saying it's perfect. Far from it! But am I the only one who kind of... enjoyed some aspects of episode 6?
Must Read
The Temple Shenanigans
The whole temple sequence? Kind of cheesy, sure. But also, kind of fun!
I actually chuckled at the over-the-top demon designs. They’re like Pokemon gone wrong (or right, depending on your perspective).
Maybe it's just me and my low expectations, but seeing Emma, Ray, and Norman navigating the temple traps was mildly entertaining.
And the grand scheme of the temple to convert the humans to demons? That was a pretty wild idea!

The Demon Sisters: Yay or Nay?
Okay, the demon sisters were definitely... something. Creepy and kinda funny.
Were they necessary? Probably not. But did they add some chaotic energy to the episode? Absolutely!
Their whole vibe was straight out of a slightly deranged fairytale.
Norman’s… Everything
Alright, Norman. Let's be honest. He’s the reason many of us stuck around.

Even if his actions were a bit… questionable. Seeing his character develop and struggle was really captivating.
The way his ideals clashed with reality created some intriguing conflict. Was he good, bad, or just morally grey? Food for thought!
The "Cliffhanger" (Air Quotes Intended)
The ending was... abrupt. Like, "we gotta wrap this up somehow" abrupt.
But even so, it gave us something to talk about, right? Misguided as it was, that cliffhanger stirred emotions.

Okay, maybe mostly frustration. But still, emotions!
In Defense of… Not Perfection, But Enjoyment
Look, I'm not trying to convince anyone that episode 6 was a masterpiece. It definitely wasn't.
It had flaws. So many flaws. It cut story arcs. It sidelined great characters.
But I still think it had some redeeming qualities. A dash of dark humor, a sprinkle of interesting character dynamics, and a whole lotta "what the heck is happening?!"

Maybe I'm just easily entertained. Maybe I'm blinded by my love for the characters. Or maybe, just maybe, there was a tiny spark of something enjoyable buried beneath the messy plot.
Don't @ me! Just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way.
So, did you enjoy Episode 6? Maybe? Just a little? No? Okay, I'll see myself out.
Maybe you’re all correct and I’m wrong. Maybe.
Either way, thanks for reading my rant, and feel free to roast me in the comments!
