Emma Thompson: Still Brilliant?

Look, no one can deny Emma Thompson is a legend. Period. She’s amazing.

But...did anyone else feel... a little uncomfortable? It's not her acting, which is superb.

I mean, the nudity. Everyone's talking about it. Was it truly... necessary? Just asking.

I get it. Body positivity! Embracing aging! It's all good stuff. Really.

But sometimes I wonder if these "brave" choices are actually just… expected now? Like, "Oh, you're a serious actress? Time to get naked!"

Did it change my life? Nope. Did it make me think? Sure, a little. Did I enjoy it as much as everyone else seems to have? Probably not.

Emma Thompson is always worth watching. Even if I'm not entirely sure about this particular role.
