Okay, let's talk Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. I finally saw it. And, well, I have some thoughts. Maybe some of them are controversial. Buckle up!
The Animation: Shiny and... Different?
First off, the animation. All that CGI! Super smooth. Super...doll-like? I’m not gonna lie, it took some getting used to.
It definitely wasn't the classic 2D style we grew up with. Still, props for trying something new, right? Maybe?

Gohan's Glow-Up: Finally!
Let's get to the good stuff: Gohan! FINALLY, the man gets his moment. I was cheering in my living room. Sorry, neighbors.
Beast Gohan? Yes, please! He looks amazing. I've been waiting for Gohan to become relevant again since the Cell Saga. No joke.
Piccolo's Pep Talk (and Power-Up!)
Piccolo deserves a medal. Not only is he the best babysitter, but he also got a massive power boost! Orange Piccolo looks beefy.
He's always been the brains of the operation. Glad he's getting the recognition he deserves! About time right?
The Red Ribbon Army: Still Around?
Seriously, the Red Ribbon Army again? They're like that persistent ex. Just won't go away.
But hey, at least they provided the motivation for the heroes to get stronger! Someone's gotta be the bad guys, I guess. They are funny bad guys to watch!
The Villains: Kinda Cute, Kinda Clumsy
Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 were... surprisingly endearing? They tried so hard to be evil. They just weren't very good at it.
They almost felt like misguided puppies. I wanted to give them a hug. And maybe a good talking to!
Unpopular Opinion Time! (Prepare Yourself)
Okay, here it comes. My super unpopular opinion: I liked it more than the Broly movie. ducks for cover.
Don’t get me wrong, Broly was cool. But Super Hero felt more focused. Plus, Gohan's moment was everything!
The characters got good development in Super Hero. So overall, Super Hero had more charm!
The Pacing: A Little Slow?
The beginning felt a little slow. Lots of setup. Lots of exposition. It did take a while to build up the tension.
But once things got going, they REALLY got going! That final fight was epic. A little rushed, maybe?
Overall Verdict: Worth a Watch?
Absolutely! Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is a fun ride. Even with its quirks. It has action, humor, and character development.
Plus, it's always great to see our favorite Z Fighters back in action! Watch it and form your own opinion. Maybe you'll even agree with my "unpopular" one!
It's a good addition to the Dragon Ball universe. Just be prepared for some CGI. And maybe a Gohan-induced happy cry.
