Dragon Ball Super Episode 119 English Dub

Remember that creepy invisible guy?
Okay, let's talk Dragon Ball Super Episode 119. Specifically, the English dub. Anyone else low-key terrified of Prum? Just me?
He’s basically the Predator, but... slimmer. And somehow even creepier.
The Invisible Man Gets a Beatdown
The premise is simple: Prum, from Universe 4, can turn invisible. He uses this to his advantage. Naturally, our heroes have a bit of trouble seeing him.
Must Read
But don't worry! Piccolo, in all his Namekian wisdom, figures it out. He uses his super hearing. Classic Piccolo.
Then comes the beatdown. Gohan, bless his heart, steps up. I love Gohan finally getting some spotlight.
Gohan's Comeback? Maybe...
Gohan shows off his skills. He fights smart and tough. We are all rooting for him.
But let's be real. Is this really Gohan's comeback? I have my doubts. He still feels a little...underwhelming.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy he's doing something. But the "Ultimate Gohan" potential still feels locked away. Unpopular opinion, maybe?
The Voices We Love (or Tolerate)
The English dub actors are great, as always. Sean Schemmel as Goku always delivers. It's hard to imagine anyone else voicing him.
And Christopher Sabat as Vegeta? Iconic. His "KAKAROT!" is a work of art. Fight me.
But let’s talk about Universe 4's Supreme Kai. Anyone else find him slightly grating? Just me?

Unpopular Opinion: Universe 4 is Annoying
Speaking of Universe 4, can we all agree they’re the most annoying universe? Their antics are tiresome.
Their Supreme Kai, Kite, is constantly scheming. His plans are always convoluted. It's exhausting.
And their God of Destruction, Quitela, just laughs obnoxiously. Dude, tone it down. You're ruining the show.
The Animation...It Exists
Let's be honest. Dragon Ball Super's animation quality can be inconsistent. Sometimes it's amazing.

Sometimes...well, sometimes it's not. Episode 119 falls somewhere in the middle. Nothing offensively bad.
But nothing particularly memorable either. It gets the job done. That's about it.
Overall? Entertaining Enough
Despite my nitpicking, Episode 119 is entertaining. It's Dragon Ball. We're here for the fights. And the screaming.
And the improbable power-ups. And the bad guys who are obviously evil. It's a formula, but it works.

So, did you enjoy it? Or are you, like me, waiting for Goku to finally go Ultra Instinct again? Let me know in the comments!
Final Verdict
Dragon Ball Super Episode 119 (English Dub): A solid, if not spectacular, episode. Gohan gets a moment to shine.
Universe 4 continues to be annoying. The animation is adequate. Worth a watch.
Just don't expect to be blown away. Unless you really like invisible bad guys. In that case, this episode is your jam.
