Dragon Ball Super 2 Release Date 2022

Dragon Ball Super...Still Waiting, Aren't We? (A 2022 Dream)
Okay, let's be real. Remember when everyone was buzzing about a Dragon Ball Super Season 2 release in 2022? Yeah, me too.
We were so innocent, weren't we? Thinking we'd be knee-deep in new Goku transformations and epic battles.
Turns out, 2022 came and went. And all we got were... well, reruns and manga updates.
Must Read
So, Where's the Beef (or the Dragon Balls)?
The internet was (and still is!) overflowing with "leaks" and "confirmed dates." Remember those? Hilarious.
Every fan theory under the sun pointed to a triumphant return. From animation studio schedules to voice actor interviews, we scrutinized everything.
Honestly, I think we spent more time speculating than Goku spends training. And that's saying something!

My Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves)
Here it comes... I kind of think the wait is a good thing. Gasp! I know, I know, heresy!
But hear me out! Rushing a sequel just to appease the masses often leads to disappointment.
Wouldn't we rather have a well-crafted, meticulously animated season than a rushed-out product? I think so.
The Manga's Keeping Us Fed (Kind Of)
At least the Dragon Ball Super manga is still going strong. Toyotaro is doing his best to keep the flame alive.

The new arcs are interesting, introducing new characters and power-ups. They give us something to debate, at least.
It's not quite the same as seeing it all animated, though, is it? A picture may be worth a thousand words, but moving pictures with screaming and energy blasts? Priceless!
What About Those Movies?
We did get some fantastic movies! Dragon Ball Super: Broly and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero were visual feasts.
Those movies certainly scratched the itch for new content. Gohan Blanco? Piccolo Orange? Who could forget?

But a movie every few years isn't the same as a full season of weekly episodes. We crave the consistency!
The Future is Still Unwritten (Maybe)
So, what's the verdict? Will we ever get a Dragon Ball Super Season 2? The answer is still frustratingly vague.
Toei Animation is keeping their cards close to their chest. But hope springs eternal, right?
Maybe they're just waiting for the perfect moment to unleash a torrent of Saiyan power. Or maybe they're just really busy.

In the Meantime...
Until then, we'll just keep rewatching the old episodes. And arguing about power levels online, of course.
We'll keep analyzing every frame of the movies, searching for clues about the future.
And we'll keep hoping that someday, Dragon Ball Super will grace our screens again. In the meantime, I'll just go back to yelling 'Kamehameha' at my cat.
"It's over 9000!" - Everyone, constantly.
