Does Kingdom Hearts All In One Have Every Game

Does Kingdom Hearts All In One Have Every Game

Okay, let's talk Kingdom Hearts All-In-One Package. It sounds... complete, right?

Like, EVERYTHING. Every single little adventure with Sora and his pals.

The Big Question: Is It Truly "All"?

The box art screams "ultimate collection." It boasts about containing, well, a lot. But does it really have every game?

Here's where things get... interesting. And where I might make some Kingdom Hearts fans gasp.

My Unpopular Opinion

I'm gonna say it. Nope! It doesn't have every game. Fight me!

Okay, maybe not literally fight. But hear me out.

It's got the mainline games. Check. Kingdom Hearts 1, 2, 3. We're golden.

And the "in-between-quels." You know, the ones with the super long titles like Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. And Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. All good.

But what about the real deep cuts? The ones that only exist on some long-forgotten mobile game?

Or that browser game you played for five minutes back in 2013? Did those make the cut?

The Mobile Games: The Elephant in the Room

This is where my unpopular opinion gains traction. Think about it: the lore runs deep through the mobile games! The story of Kingdom Hearts is intertwined throughout every platform!

Those little phone games are practically required reading! (Or required tapping, I guess.)

Some might argue they're not "main" games. Just side stories. But are they really?

Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]. That's a mouthful! But it's also HUGE.

It explains so much of the backstory! The ancient Keyblade War, the Foretellers, the real reason Xehanort is such a jerk.

Can you really understand Kingdom Hearts 3 without it? I argue, probably not fully.

Remastered? Reimagined? Or Missing Entirely?

Let's say those browser/mobile games did make it into the All-In-One Package. In what form? A summary video? A text scroll?

That doesn't feel like the full experience, does it?

Playing is different than watching. You get to fail in real-time!

And what about the feeling of your thumbs cramping from playing on a tiny phone screen for hours?

That's part of the Kingdom Hearts experience, right? Right?

The Verdict (Maybe?)

The Kingdom Hearts All-In-One Package is amazing. Seriously. It's a fantastic way to experience most of the series.

But is it everything? Nope. Not in my book.

Until they figure out a way to port those mobile games perfectly, my unpopular opinion stands.

And that's okay! Maybe it's impossible to have truly everything in one place.

After all, isn't the journey more important than the destination? (Even if the destination is "complete" Kingdom Hearts collection?)

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go play Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory. Because even that is a piece of the puzzle!
