Did The Masked Singer Come On Last Night

Okay, let's be honest. How many of you woke up this morning wondering the same thing I did? Did The Masked Singer even come on last night?

Seriously. It feels like it’s always on. Or maybe it's just me losing track of days? Blame it on the masks! They’re messing with my perception of time.

The Endless Search for Celebrities in Costumes

It’s like a fever dream. A sparkly, sequined, autotuned fever dream. You know the one where you're trying to figure out if that giant cupcake is really Dionne Warwick?

I find myself Googling "Is The Masked Singer new tonight?" more often than I'd like to admit. It’s a weekly ritual. A slightly embarrassing ritual.

And then, the internal debate begins. Do I really want to spend another hour trying to decipher Ken Jeong's "clues"? Honestly, sometimes I think he's making them up on the spot.

The Unpopular Opinion Zone

Here's where I might lose some of you. I enjoy The Masked Singer. I do. But... is anyone else getting a little...tired of it?

Don’t get me wrong, the costumes are amazing. The sheer creativity is mind-boggling. A singing artichoke? Genius!

But the guessing game? It’s becoming a bit predictable. It's always someone who was famous, is famous, or vaguely remembers being famous.

"Is it a singer? An actor? A professional athlete? All of the above?" – My internal monologue during every performance.

And the reveals! Sometimes, I'm like, "Who?" Other times, I’m thinking, "Oh, THAT'S why they haven't been on my radar lately!"

The Allure of the Mask

I get it. There’s something inherently intriguing about the anonymity. The mystery. The sheer spectacle of it all.

We're all drawn to a good guessing game. Plus, it gives us something to talk about around the water cooler (or, you know, on social media).

But sometimes, I just want to watch a show where I know who the performers are. No masks, no clues, just good old-fashioned talent.

Is that too much to ask? Apparently, it is. At least for one night a week (or more, depending on how many spin-offs they create).

So, Did It?

So, did The Masked Singer come on last night? Probably. If not, it'll be on soon. And I'll probably watch it.

Because despite my (perhaps) slightly jaded commentary, there’s a part of me that secretly loves the absurdity. The randomness. The sheer ridiculousness of it all.

And hey, maybe this season they’ll finally get Beyoncé to dress up as a singing pineapple. A girl can dream, right?

Until then, I'll keep Googling. And keep guessing. And keep wondering if that next mask will finally break me.
