Here's where I might lose some of you. I actually liked the direction Season 2 took the story. More family dynamics, less world-ending threats (at least initially).

I know, I know. Some people wanted more epic battles. But I enjoyed the slice-of-life stuff! It's relatable. Who hasn't struggled with rent while secretly being a demon lord?

Maybe it's just me. But watching Maou be a dad was hilarious. He is a demon after all, and being a dad is hard.

So, Was Season 2 Worth It?

But it gave us more of the characters we love. Plus, it reminded us that even the Devil can learn to appreciate a good day at MgRonald's.
