Okay, let's be real. We all went a little crazy waiting for Demon Slayer Season 2, right?

Remember refreshing Crunchyroll every five seconds? Good times. Or maybe not so good, depending on your internet speed.

The Long Wait: A Shared Trauma

Trying to pin down the exact release dates felt like battling a demon myself. It was a rollercoaster of rumors and vague announcements.

Then, bam! A release date... for the first part. Then, more waiting for the Entertainment District Arc.

Honestly, the suspense was almost as intense as a Tengen Uzui fight.

The first few episodes, retelling the Mugen Train Arc, started airing in October 2021. A good warmup.

But everyone was really itching for the new content, the Entertainment District. That finally dropped in December 2021.

So technically, if you count the Mugen Train retread, it was a staggered release from October to February 2022. Confusing, right?

Okay, here's where I might lose some of you. I didn't hate the Mugen Train recaps, but... did we really need them?

I get it, accessibility for new viewers. But most of us had already seen the movie a million times!

It felt a bit like padding. Maybe a hot take, but I stand by it.

Absolutely! Flashy fights, amazing animation, and a whole lot of Nezuko being adorable (and terrifying). What more could you want?

Tengen Uzui became an instant fan favorite. His flamboyance was a welcome addition to the Demon Slayer crew.

And the villains were genuinely creepy. Those siblings? Yikes!

Technically, you could say all episodes of Season 2 (including the retellings) aired between October 10, 2021, and February 13, 2022.

But let's be honest, most of us only really started paying attention in December. That's when the real party started.

It's all a blur now, but the important thing is, we got through it together. Right? Right.

Now we're all eagerly awaiting the next season. Hopefully, the wait won't be as agonizing this time.

I'm already stockpiling snacks and caffeine. Preparedness is key!
