Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Intro Song

Okay, let's talk about the Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc intro song. "Zankyosanka," right? Everyone seems to adore it. I get it; it's energetic.
But... is it just me, or is it slightly overrated? Don't get me wrong, Aimer has an amazing voice. The visuals are stunning, absolutely gorgeous.
The Hype Train
Seriously, though, the hype train for this intro was intense. Everyone was posting about it. My social media was flooded. It was inescapable!
Must Read
And maybe that’s part of my problem. Overexposure can kill anything, even the coolest demon-slaying tunes. Maybe if I hadn't heard it everywhere, I'd feel differently.
A Perfectly Good Song...
Look, "Zankyosanka" is a perfectly good song. It's catchy. It gets you pumped for some demon action. But is it the best anime intro ever? I’m not so sure.

Compared to some other anime openings, it feels a little...generic? There, I said it! Prepare for the internet to come for me.
...Or is it?
Maybe I'm just being contrarian. It's a possibility, folks! Sometimes, I like to be the guy who disagrees with the popular opinion. It keeps things interesting.
Perhaps I'm longing for the simpler times of "Gurenge". LiSA's vocals just hit different. Don't @ me.

My Unpopular Opinion
Here's my unpopular opinion: The song itself is great, but the over-the-top reactions made me recoil. It felt like I had to love it, and that automatically made me want to resist. We've all been there, right?
It's like when everyone raves about a certain restaurant. Then you go, and it's... fine. Not bad, but not life-changingly amazing. Just fine.
I think the issue lies with the overblown celebration of it. The song didn't stand out as much as the collective love for it. It's like everyone wanted it to be the best so much, they willed it into existence.

Give it a rest!
The constant bombardment of "Zankyosanka" remixes and covers didn't help. My ears needed a break! Can we agree to give the song a little rest?
I'm not saying the artists who made them aren't talented. It's just...too much of a good thing, maybe? Remember when you were kid eating your favorite candy until you got sick?
Maybe I just need to avoid the internet for a while. A digital detox might be just what I need. Perhaps then I will see the light.

The Bottom Line
Ultimately, music is subjective. What I dislike, you might adore. That's the beauty of it all! Agree to disagree, folks.
I'm not trying to trash "Zankyosanka." It's a well-produced, catchy song by a talented artist. I just think the hype surrounding it was a bit much. Let the downvotes begin!
So, what do you think? Am I completely off base? Or do you secretly agree with me? Let me know in the comments...if you dare!
Please be kind.
