Then there's Inosuke. Bless his heart, that boy doesn't understand the concept of "subtlety." He's basically a feral boar in a fancy kimono. Sneaking is definitely not his strong suit. Thank goodness for his heightened sense!
It's truly amazing how oblivious he can be, and yet, he has moments of genuine insight. It really adds an interesting layer to his character.

And of course, there's Tanjiro, trying to keep the chaos contained. He is such a responsible big brother figure. I don't know how he manages to deal with Zenitsu and Inosuke all the time.
He's also doing a fantastic job gathering information. Tanjiro's kindness and genuine nature make people want to help him. Even in the seedy underbelly of the entertainment district.
The Tension is Building
This episode wasn't all laughs and clumsy disguises, though. The tension is definitely ramping up as they get closer to uncovering the demon's secrets. You can feel the sense of danger creeping in, and it makes every little slip-up feel so much more impactful.
Those creepy obi sashes are getting creepier every episode! I’m just waiting for one of them to suddenly attack.
That Cliffhanger!
And then… BAM! That ending! Talk about leaving you on the edge of your seat. We are left wondering about Warabihime Oiran’s real motives.
The suspense is palpable. I immediately wanted to watch the next episode.
