Dancing With The Stars Season 30 Episode 2

The High Notes (and the Slightly Less High Notes)

First off, Amanda Kloots. Seriously, girl is a powerhouse! Her tango was so sharp it could cut diamonds. She's not just dancing; she's telling a story. Someone hand her the Mirrorball trophy already!

Carrie Ann Inaba was giving out 10s like Oprah gives out cars. "You get a 10! And you get a 10! Everybody gets a 10!" It was a bit much, even for me, and I love a good overscore!

Bruno Tonioli was, well, Bruno. Flailing his arms, yelling about passion, and generally being the wonderfully eccentric human disco ball we all know and adore. Never change, Bruno, never change!

The "Most Improved" Award (Maybe?)

This is a tough one! I’d probably give it to Matt James. He still got some work to do. But his improvement is noticeable from episode 1 to 2.

Honestly, everyone deserves a medal for just getting out there. It takes guts to face the music (literally) and put yourself out there for the world to judge. Remember how nervous you get at karaoke? Multiply that by a million!

But who got eliminated? I'm still recovering. It's always sad to see someone go home so early. But that's the nature of the beast, right? Gotta keep dancing to survive!

Here is one thing that needs to be mentioned - Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach. They have something special. Keep and eye on them!
