Dakaretai Otoko 1-i Ni Odosarete Imasu. Movie: Spain-hen

Spain? More Like Spain-tastic! (An Unpopular Opinion)
Okay, let's be real. Everyone went wild for Dakaretai Otoko 1-i Ni Odosarete Imasu. Movie: Spain-hen. And rightfully so, I guess?
But hear me out. I have some thoughts.
The Scenery Steals the Show
Spain is gorgeous. Seriously. From the sunny beaches to the historical buildings, my eyes were feasting. Did I even pay attention to Takato and Junta? Maybe…maybe not.
Must Read
The plot? Fine, whatever. But those landscapes? Chef's kiss! Give Spain an Oscar!
The Drama... Is It Just Me?
Don't get me wrong, I love a good dramatic arc. But sometimes it felt...forced. Like they were trying too hard to create tension.

Like, guys, you're in Spain! Relax! Drink some sangria! Get a tan!
Junta's Obsession: Still Cute, Still Kinda Creepy
Okay, Junta's devotion to Takato is...intense. Borderline stalker-ish, perhaps? Just a smidge?
We all love someone, but maybe give them some breathing room. Especially in a foreign country with limited cell service.

Unpopular Opinion: The Side Characters Deserve More
Let's talk about the unsung heroes. Arashi? Chunta's mom? They deserve their own spinoffs!
They brought the humor and the heart that the main couple sometimes lacked. Justice for the sidekicks!
The Intense Moments... We Get It
Look, it's Dakaretai Otoko. We know what we signed up for. But did we really need so many slow-motion shots of… certain… interactions?

My grandma was watching with me! Awkward doesn't even begin to describe it.
Final Verdict: Worth the Watch, But...
Dakaretai Otoko 1-i Ni Odosarete Imasu. Movie: Spain-hen is definitely entertaining. The animation is beautiful, the voice acting is superb, and the location is stunning.
But sometimes I think the hype overshadowed some of its flaws. Maybe I'm just being a contrarian. Who knows?

P.S. Spain is now on my travel bucket list.
Thanks, Takato and Junta, for indirectly inspiring my next vacation. I'll be sure to avoid any dramatic kidnapping attempts while I'm there.
Though, a little adventure never hurt anyone... right?
