Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 11 Episode 9 Cast

Okay, let's talk Curb Your Enthusiasm. Season 11, Episode 9. "Irma Kostroski." Remember that one? It was... something.
The Usual Suspects
Of course, Larry David was his usual, wonderfully awful self. Bumbling through life, offending everyone. That's why we love him, right? Or tolerate him, at least.
Jeff Garlin as Jeff Greene. Always up to something shady. Always getting Larry into (and out of) trouble. Business as usual.
Must Read
Cheryl Hines as Cheryl. Still somehow putting up with Larry. An absolute saint. Or maybe just incredibly patient. Which is basically the same thing.
Susie Essman as Susie Greene. Screaming and swearing. Perfection. Never change, Susie. Never change.
And J.B. Smoove as Leon Black. Larry's ride-or-die roommate. Always offering questionable advice. Always hilarious.

Guest Stars Galore!
This episode was packed! Tracey Ullman as Irma Kostroski, the councilwoman. She was…intense. Let's just say that.
Bill Hader popped in as Igor. The one with the…interesting past. A brief, but memorable, appearance.
Patton Oswalt also made an appearance. Playing… well, playing a guy who got into it with Larry. Shocking, I know.

Unpopular Opinion Time
Here's where I might get some hate. Are you ready? I wasn't totally blown away by Tracey Ullman in this episode. There, I said it!
She's incredibly talented, don't get me wrong. But something about her character felt... a little too much? A little too over-the-top, even for Curb.
Maybe it was the writing? Maybe it was just me. But I didn't find Irma Kostroski as funny as everyone else seemed to.

"You know, sometimes less is more," - Someone Wise, probably.
I much preferred Bill Hader's brief appearance. He nailed the awkward, slightly menacing vibe. Wish he'd had more screen time.
And Patton Oswalt? Always a welcome addition. He can deliver a withering insult like nobody's business.
The Verdict
Overall, "Irma Kostroski" was a solid Curb episode. The regulars were great, as always. And the guest stars added some extra flavor.

Even if I wasn't completely sold on Irma herself, the episode had plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. Larry's interactions with the city council were pure gold.
And let's be honest, any episode with Larry David complaining about something is a win in my book.
What did you think of the episode? Agree with my unpopular opinion? Let me know! Or don't. I'm sure Larry wouldn't care either way.
