Okay, let's talk Demon Slayer. Specifically, when the heck is Season 2 coming back?

We all binged the first season, right? And then the movie, Mugen Train, had us all reaching for the tissues.

Now, we're stuck in this endless waiting game. A game I'm starting to lose, frankly.

The Great Demon Slayer Wait

Seriously, it feels like it's been an eternity since Tanjiro and the gang graced our screens. Are they still fighting demons? Did they all go on a very long vacation?

My pet theory is that they're all just really, really bad at planning their next move. Maybe they lost their swords? Or perhaps Nezuko is finally getting a well-deserved nap.

Whatever the reason, the wait is killing us (pun intended).

Rumors and Whispers

The internet is buzzing, of course. Every day, there's a "leaked" release date. Every week, a new "insider" drops hints.

I've stopped believing them, honestly. It's all just clickbait trying to prey on our desperate hearts. They are just as unsure about the realease date as we are.

Maybe, just maybe, Ufotable is just messing with us. Playing the long game to maximize hype. Evil geniuses, I tell you!

My Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves!)

Here's where I might lose some of you. I'm starting to think that Demon Slayer is slightly overrated.

Don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous. The animation is stunning. The characters are lovable, even Zenitsu (sometimes!).

But... the plot can be a bit repetitive, can't it? Demon appears, sad backstory, epic fight, repeat.

Hear Me Out!

I still love it! I'm still going to watch Season 2 the second it drops. I am a hypocrite, I know.

Maybe a long wait will do it good, a little bit of time to work on the story and improve. That would be a nice.

However, let's not pretend it's the second coming of anime. There's plenty of other great stuff out there while we wait for Tanjiro to slay some more demons.

So, When Is It Coming Back?

Okay, back to the main question. When do we finally get to see what happens next?

The honest answer? Nobody really knows for sure, except maybe the folks at Ufotable.

Until then, we are left to rewatch the first season for the tenth time, read the manga, and endlessly speculate.

My Prediction (Completely Unfounded)

I'm going to throw a date out there. Purely based on my gut feeling and a healthy dose of wishful thinking.

I'm guessing... Fall 2024. Mark my words! (Or don't. I'm probably wrong anyway).

In the meantime, let's all try to be patient. And maybe find a new anime to obsess over. Or not. Who am I to tell you what to do?
