Code Geass Lelouch Of The Rebellion Lost Stories

Lost in Britannia (Again!)
Okay, let's be honest. We all love Code Geass. Lelouch's plans? Iconic. The Geass itself? Super cool. But Lost Stories... is it just me, or is it a bit of a what if buffet gone wild?
Don't get me wrong, alternate timelines are fun. Seeing what could've been? Intriguing. But with every new Geass user popping up like mushrooms after rain, I kinda miss the original gang.
The "Geass of the Week" Club
Seriously, does everyone in Britannia have a secret Geass wish? Suddenly, your neighbor's dog has mind control powers! It's a bit much, isn't it? I need a break.
Must Read
Lelouch's Geass felt... special. It was tied to his deep desires, his trauma, his whole vibe. Now it's like a party favor at a Britannia convention. It's too many to keep track of.
And the backstories? Some are fantastic, sure. But others feel like they were written on the back of a napkin during a commercial break. Just throwing out new characters like there's no tomorrow.

Is Britannia Big Enough for All These Knights?
The original Code Geass had a tight-knit cast. We cared about those characters. They had depth! Lost Stories introduces new knights faster than I can remember their names. Seriously.
They're all shiny and new, with their custom Knightmare Frames and tragic backstories. But do I feel for them? Not really. I'm still mourning Shirley, okay?
And speaking of Knightmare Frames... they are so many different models and shapes. It gets confusing and I am not even an engineer.

Unpopular Opinion Alert!
Here it comes, brace yourselves. I think Lost Stories dilutes the impact of the original. It messes with the themes and makes the world feel... less special. There, I said it!
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the effort. The developers clearly put a lot of work into it. But it feels like fan fiction gone wild. Not necessarily in a bad way, but still...

I still enjoy the thrill of Code Geass. I enjoy the action! And seeing Britannia from a different character's perspective can be interesting. But I find myself missing the original cast.
So, What's the Verdict?
Lost Stories isn't bad. It's just... a lot. It's like ordering a pizza with every single topping imaginable. It might taste good, but it's also kinda overwhelming.
Maybe I'm just a grumpy old Code Geass fan who wants things to stay the same. Maybe I need to lighten up and embrace the chaos. Maybe, just maybe, I need more Nunnally in my life.

I will keep on playing, even though it can be a little bit messy and the storyline might be all over the place. I still love Lelouch and Suzaku!
At the end of the day, Code Geass is about rebellion and fighting for what you believe in. Even if that means rebelling against the sheer amount of content in Lost Stories!
All hail Britannia! Or... maybe just the original version.
