Okay, let's talk Chicago Fire, specifically Season 10, Episode 17. We all know why: guest stars! They're the sprinkles on our firefighter sundae. Some are delightful, others... well, let's just say I have opinions.

The Faces You Might've Missed (Or Secretly Cheered For)

First off, did anyone else do a double-take when they saw Anthony Ferraris? He played Captain Pell. It's always fun spotting a new face, even if they're playing someone who isn't exactly buddy-buddy with our favorite firehouse.

Then there was Rebecca Spence, as Mrs. Krosner. Anyone else think she nailed that concerned-but-trying-to-be-strong mom vibe? Seriously, she sold it. I almost wanted to give her a hug, and I barely know the character.

Wait, Was That...?

Now, here's where my "unpopular opinion" flag starts waving. Did anyone else find Robert Belushi (as "Jury Foreman") a little…distracting? He's a funny guy, no doubt. But I felt like I was watching Jim Belushi's son acting, not a jury foreman.

Maybe it's just me. Maybe I was too busy wondering if he inherited his dad's comedic timing (he did!). But it took me out of the serious courtroom drama a little. Anyone else?

And let's not forget Aaron Dean Eisenberg as Martin Wetzel. He's got that "shifty" look down pat. You just know he's up to no good the second he appears on screen. Good casting choice, I say.

Look, I appreciate guest stars. They add flavor. They give our regular cast someone to bounce off of. But sometimes, they just don't quite land, you know?

It's like when you order a pizza. You're excited, but then you get a weird topping you weren't expecting. Suddenly, the whole pizza experience is a bit…off.

Okay, maybe that's a dramatic analogy. But you get my point! Guest stars are a gamble. Sometimes you win, sometimes you get anchovies when you asked for pepperoni.

We can't forget the smaller roles, either. Like Sam Ashdown as Paramedic Barnes. Small part, sure, but every little bit helps build the world of Firehouse 51.

And then there's Michael Harris as Jesse Houser. He plays a lawyer. Enough said. Lawyers on TV are usually up to no good, right?

Honestly, even the smallest roles are important. They add depth. They make Chicago feel real. Even if I secretly judge some of the casting choices.
