Alright, creature of the night (or day – no judgement!), let’s dive into the ridiculously amazing cast that made What We Do in the Shadows Season 2 such a gut-busting masterpiece.

We're talking vampires struggling with modern life, a loyal but exasperated familiar, and enough supernatural shenanigans to fill a crypt!

The Vampiric Trio (Plus One Hilarious Addition)

First up, we have Nandor the Relentless, played by the ever-brilliant Kayvan Novak. Imagine a super dramatic, ancient warrior... who's also deeply insecure and obsessed with planning the perfect group activity. That's Nandor in a nutshell!

He tries so hard to be scary, but he usually just ends up being the sweetest, most awkward vampire you'll ever meet.

Then there's Laszlo Cravensworth, the sophisticated (ish) and perpetually horny vampire, brought to life by the amazing Matt Berry. He’s basically a rock star in a ruffled collar.

His pronouncements alone are worth the price of admission. Every line is delivered with such theatrical flair!

And of course, we can't forget Nadja of Antipaxos, played with scene-stealing brilliance by Natasia Demetriou. Nadja is fierce, fabulous, and not afraid to speak her mind (or conjure a ghost!).

She's the kind of friend you want in your corner, especially if you're dealing with a vampire hunter or a particularly annoying neighbor.

Now, let's give it up for the energy vampire extraordinaire, Colin Robinson, played by the deceptively ordinary Mark Proksch. Colin drains your energy with boring stories and mundane tasks.

He's the guy who cornered you at the office party to talk about spreadsheets. Only, you know, a vampire.

The Familiar Who Deserves a Raise (and Maybe a Vacation)

Last, but certainly not least, is Guillermo De la Cruz, Nandor's long-suffering familiar, played by the incredible Harvey Guillén. Guillermo wants nothing more than to become a vampire himself.

But for now, he’s stuck cleaning up vampire messes, dealing with their ridiculous demands, and secretly slaying other vampires (accidentally, of course!). He's basically Buffy the Vampire Slayer's reluctant sidekick... who also makes the sandwiches.

Harvey Guillén's performance as Guillermo is a masterclass in comedic timing and heartfelt sincerity. You can't help but root for him, even when he's elbow-deep in vampire guts.

Guest Stars Galore!

Season 2 also boasts some amazing guest stars, adding even more layers of delightful weirdness to the mix. We saw everything from other vampires to ghosts to witches.
