Cast Of So You Think You Can Dance 2022

Okay, let's talk So You Think You Can Dance 2022. The cast. The judges. The moves. It was... a season, right?
The Dancers: Who Shined (and Who… Didn't?)
First, the dancers! So much talent packed onto one stage. But let's be honest, some stood out more than others. And some... well, they tried their best!
I loved watching Alexis Warr Burton. That girl could move! Seriously, her versatility was insane.
Must Read
My unpopular opinion? I wasn’t completely sold on everyone else. Don’t get me wrong, they were all good. Just not blow-my-mind good, you know?
Specific Shout-Outs (and Maybe a Slight Side-Eye)
Essence Wilmington was amazing in her style! But sometimes felt limited.
And then there was Keaton Kermode. I get that he had fans. But for me, sometimes his performances felt a little too... calculated?

Look, I'm not a professional dancer! Just a regular person yelling at my TV.
Big props to Beau Harmon and Carter Williams for their unique takes! And the rest of the crew for pouring it all out there every week!
The Judges: Did They Get It Right?
The judges! Were they on point this year? Did they see what we saw?
I usually love Stephen "tWitch" Boss. He was always so positive and encouraging. Gone way too soon.

Leah Remini was... Leah Remini. She brought the sass and the opinions. Sometimes I agreed, sometimes I cringed.
Did JoJo Siwa bring enough insight? Or was it just a lot of energy? I'm still deciding!
Their job is hard! Judging dance is subjective. I couldn’t do it.

The Choreography: Hits and Misses
Now, the choreography! That's where the real magic (or sometimes, the real awkwardness) happened.
Some routines were breathtaking. Others? I was left scratching my head.
Mia Michaels? Always a legend. But even she had some routines that didn’t quite land for me. Unpopular opinion alert!
I often wondered if the dancers were truly connecting to the material. Sometimes it felt forced.

Overall: A Fun Ride, But Room for Improvement
So You Think You Can Dance is always entertaining. But I think 2022 could have been even better.
Less drama, more dancing! More variety, less predictability! Is that too much to ask?
Maybe next year they'll listen to my totally unsolicited (and possibly wrong) opinions. Until then, I'll be here, judging from my couch.
What did you think? Agree? Disagree? Let's argue about it politely! Because that's what the internet is for.
