Cast Of Power Book Iii Raising Kanan Ghost

Lights, Camera, Throwback!
Ever wondered what it would be like if the intense drama of Power Book III: Raising Kanan met the slick, fast-paced world of Power Book II: Ghost? Imagine Kanan Stark, not as the hardened gangster we know, but as a teenager stepping into Tariq St. Patrick's complicated world. Sounds wild, right?
While it's (sadly) not a crossover episode in the works, there's a fun "what if" game we can play involving the stellar cast. Let's imagine how some of our favorite Raising Kanan characters would navigate the halls of Stansfield University and the dangers of the drug game alongside Tariq.
Raquel "Raq" Thomas: The Queen in a New Kingdom
First up, Raq (played with such fierce brilliance by Patina Miller). Now, Raq dropped into Ghost would be interesting. Forget Monet Tejada, Raq would've been the Queen, no competition. She's calculated, ruthless, and has a strategic mind that could rival any chess master.
Must Read
Imagine her sizing up Tariq's operation, seeing all the flaws and potential for expansion. She wouldn't just take over, she'd improve the business, probably before Tariq even realized what was happening. She'd likely have Cane Tejada begging for her approval, and that's a crossover we didn't know we needed!
Kanan Stark: A Fish Out of Water (and Maybe Into More Trouble)
What about Kanan (Mekai Curtis), pre-prison, thrust into Tariq's life? He'd be a fascinating wildcard. Kanan's street smarts are undeniable, but he's also impulsive and easily influenced. He would’ve probably teamed up with Brayden Weston and made a fortune from MarketPlace.

Imagine Kanan trying to navigate Stansfield, clashing with the privileged students and the double-crossing professors. He might see a kindred spirit in Tariq, but their approaches to the game are so different. Kanan, however, probably wouldn’t follow orders from someone like Monet.
Lou-Lou Thomas: The Muscle with a Hidden Artistic Soul
Then we have Lou-Lou (Malcolm Mays), Raq's brother and the conflicted soul of the Thomas family. He's the muscle, but he yearns for something more, a creative outlet. If Lou-Lou landed in Ghost, he might be surprisingly drawn to the music scene.
Maybe he’d even find himself working with some of the artists Tariq encounters. He could be a surprisingly effective mediator, using his size and presence to keep the peace, but also offering a listening ear to those feeling lost in the game.

Marvin Thomas: The Wild Card Dad
Let's not forget Marvin (London Brown), Kanan's biological father and the ultimate wild card. Marvin in Ghost? Chaos, pure and simple. He’s got a short fuse and questionable decision-making skills.
Imagine him trying to give Tariq “fatherly” advice. It would be comedy gold. While he may not be the smartest, his ability to rile people up and cause distractions could inadvertently benefit Tariq, or completely derail his plans.

The Beauty of "What If?"
Ultimately, imagining the Raising Kanan crew in the Ghost universe is a testament to the strong characters and compelling storylines created by the Power franchise. It's a fun exercise that highlights the unique strengths and weaknesses of each character.
And who knows, maybe one day we'll get a glimpse of these characters interacting in some form. Until then, we can keep dreaming about the potential drama, alliances, and betrayals that could unfold.
Now, wouldn’t that be something?
