Don't get me wrong, I adore Mabel, Charles, and Oliver. They're the heart of the show. But some side characters… well, let's just say I have thoughts.
Our Core Trio: Can't Touch This
Selena Gomez as Mabel Mora? Perfection. She brings the sass and the mystery. Plus, her outfits? Impeccable.

Steve Martin is hilarious as Charles-Haden Savage. His dry wit is a constant source of amusement. I laugh every time he tries to relate to the younger generation.
And let's not forget Martin Short as Oliver Putnam. He's theatrical, desperate, and totally lovable. He’s the glue that holds them together!
The Supporting Cast: Some Hits, Some Misses
Now, for the supporting characters. This is where things get interesting. Jan Bellows, played by Amy Ryan, was amazing. Super creepy, super effective.
But some of the other love interests? A little… meh. Did we really need Charles to have another awkward romance?
Bunny Folger: The Queen We Didn't Deserve
Jayne Houdyshell as Bunny Folger? Iconic. She was grumpy, opinionated, and surprisingly vulnerable. Her death fueled an entire season!
I found myself feeling bad when she was gone. She was truly entertaining to watch. I'd watch a whole spin-off about Bunny's Arconia life.
Howard Morris: The Unsung Hero
Howard, played by Michael Cyril Creighton, is a delight. Nervous, quirky, and always slightly off-kilter. He's the perfect comedic relief.
He steals every scene he's in. I need more Howard in my life.
Teddy Dimas: A Villain We Love to Hate
Nathan Lane as Teddy Dimas is fantastic. He plays the arrogant, rich guy perfectly. He’s a villain you almost (almost!) sympathize with.
His interactions with Oliver are comedy gold. I secretly hope he makes a comeback.
My Unpopular Opinion: Uma Heller
Okay, here's my controversial take. I don't get the Uma Heller hype. Played by Jackie Hoffman, she just felt… annoying.
I never really connected with her character. Her lines were always a bit grating to my ears. Maybe it’s just me?
Cinda Canning: The Podcast Rival
Tina Fey as Cinda Canning is brilliant. A ruthless podcast queen with a killer instinct. She adds a great competitive edge to the show.
I love how she’s always one step ahead. Her constant digs at Oliver, Charles and Mabel never get old.
Final Thoughts: The Arconia is Full of Characters
Overall, the cast of Only Murders in the Building is fantastic. A few characters might not be my personal favorites. But everyone helps to make the Arconia feel alive.
It's the quirky ensemble that keeps us coming back for more. And I can’t wait to see who shows up (and who gets murdered!) next season.
