By The Grace Of The Gods Season 2 Episode 1

Okay, guys. By the Grace of the Gods is back! Season 2, Episode 1. Let's dive in, shall we?
A Gentle Start to New Adventures
The episode kicks off... peacefully. Ryoma is still chilling, slimes are still sliming. Honestly, it's like we never left.
Was anyone else expecting, like, a giant monster attack? Or at least a slightly grumpy customer at the laundry?
Must Read
Nope. We get more slime research. Don't get me wrong, I love slimes. But maybe a tad more action next time?
Slime Mania Continues!
Ryoma's dedication to his slimes is... admirable. He's basically a slime whisperer. Does anyone else feel a little jealous of those slimes?
They get fed, cared for, and apparently, are the key to all sorts of amazing inventions. My cat just sheds everywhere.
I'm starting to think I need a slime farm. Laundry would be so much easier!

New Faces, Same Cozy Vibes
We do get introduced to some new characters. They seem nice enough. Hopefully, they'll bring some spice to the show.
One guy seems particularly interested in Ryoma's slime-based laundry service. Smart man!
Seriously, who wouldn't want perfectly clean clothes thanks to adorable, squishy creatures?
The Laundry Service Revolution
Ryoma's laundry business is booming. Good for him! He's a hard worker. Plus, the slimes are probably getting a cut, right?

I'm kind of waiting for a rival laundry service to appear. Maybe run by goblins? Now that's a plot twist!
Imagine the marketing wars: "Our goblins are grumpier, therefore cleaner!"
Unpopular Opinion Time!
Okay, here's my controversial take: I kind of miss the initial "fish out of water" feeling from Season 1.
Ryoma is so settled now. It's lovely, but I liked seeing him figure things out. He was so naive before!

Maybe a little amnesia is in order? Just kidding... mostly.
Slow and Steady Wins the... Anime?
Look, I get it. By the Grace of the Gods isn't trying to be an action-packed thriller. It's a comfy, feel-good show.
And sometimes, that's exactly what you need. A warm blanket and a bunch of happy slimes. Who am I to complain?
But a little bit of drama wouldn't hurt, right? Just a sprinkle?

Final Thoughts (For Now)
Episode 1 was a gentle reintroduction to Ryoma's world. It was nice, but maybe a little too nice.
I'm hoping the rest of the season will pick up the pace. More adventure, more challenges, more slime-related hijinks!
Overall? A solid start. But By the Grace of the Gods, please give us something to chew on soon!
What do you think? Was it everything you hoped for? Let me know in the comments!
