Boku No Hero Academia Temporada 2 Capitulo 10

Okay, let's talk about My Hero Academia Season 2 Episode 10. You know, the one everyone seems to love?
The Sports Festival's Slow Burn
Honestly? It's fine. I get it, the whole Sports Festival arc is iconic.
But Episode 10? It feels like we're just… waiting. Waiting for something HUGE to happen. And while the tension is building, I'm just a tiny bit bored.
Must Read
I know, I know, unpopular opinion alert! But hear me out.
The Todoroki Dilemma (Again!)
Look, I love Shoto Todoroki. He's brooding, powerful, and has a killer quirk.
But his whole daddy issue thing? It's starting to feel a little repetitive in this episode. We GET it, he hates his dad, Endeavor.
Must we dwell on it? I mean, can't we see him just blast some ice without the angst for five minutes?

Bakugo's… Bakugo-ness
Ah, Katsuki Bakugo. The walking, talking explosion of teenage rage. What can I say?
His match is… well, it's Bakugo being Bakugo. Loud, aggressive, and always convinced he's the best. Is that even character development?
He screams, he explodes, he wins. Rinse and repeat. I am craving a plot twist.
Uraraka's Fight: A Missed Opportunity?
Ochaco Uraraka is adorable. She's sweet, determined, and wants to help her parents.

But her fight against Bakugo? It feels… disappointing. Like the battle should have been epic.
Don't you think so? I felt that she should have some secret move, and use it against Bakugo instead of just screaming for help.
She tries her best, she really does, but Bakugo's explosions are just too much.
The Inevitable Midoriya Moment
Of course, Izuku Midoriya has to be involved. He is the protagonist after all.

He's trying to give Uraraka advice, being the supportive cinnamon roll that he is. He always does!
It's sweet, but it also feels like we're being prepped for something bigger. And the waiting...is killing me.
So, What's the Problem?
Maybe it's just me. Perhaps I had my expectations too high.
Maybe I wanted more action, more surprises, more… something! The story arc has been hyped so much.

Episode 10 isn't BAD. It's just... transitional. A bridge between the awesome stuff that came before and the (hopefully) even more awesome stuff to come. Maybe.
Final Verdict?
Look, My Hero Academia is fantastic. I am just being too negative.
It has great characters, exciting fights, and a compelling story. But sometimes, even the best shows have their slightly-less-amazing moments.
So, am I the only one who thinks Episode 10 is a bit… overhyped? Probably. But hey, at least I'm honest. Don't get me wrong, I am still excited for what is coming next!
