Boku No Hero Academia Season 5 Number Of Episodes

Okay, let's talk about My Hero Academia Season 5. Specifically, the episode count. It's a hot topic, right?
The Magic Number: 25
Season 5 clocks in at 25 episodes. That's... fine. It's the standard length for most My Hero Academia seasons. But is it enough? Hmm...
For some, 25 episodes are plenty. For others (like maybe me), it felt a little... rushed in places. Anyone else feel that way?
Must Read
The Joint Training Arc: A Divisive Point
The Joint Training Arc was… interesting. We got to see Class 1-A and Class 1-B duke it out. Some loved it. Others, not so much.
Personally? I think it could have benefited from a few more episodes. Really let those battles breathe. Show off those Quirks!
Maybe three or four extra episodes? Explore each match a bit more fully? Just a thought!

The Meta Liberation Army Arc: Content Overload?
Then we have the Meta Liberation Army Arc. Okay, this one was packed! So much happened, so quickly. It’s like they were speedrunning a marathon!
The League of Villains got some serious development. Shigaraki leveled up big time. But did we really get to feel that transformation?
Maybe one or two extra episodes here could have fleshed things out. Give us more of Shigaraki's backstory. Let the tension build.
An Unpopular Opinion: More Episodes, Please!
Here comes the potentially controversial part: I think Season 5 could have used more episodes. Maybe 30? 32?

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it. But I think adding some extra time could have made a huge difference in the pacing. Especially with the villains.
More screen time for the League of Villains? Yes, please! More world-building? Absolutely!
The Animation Quality: A Brief Detour
Okay, let's be honest, the animation in some parts of Season 5 wasn't quite up to the usual My Hero Academia standards. It looked a little… off at times.

I'm not an expert, but it's hard to ignore. Maybe more episodes would have given the animators more time to polish things? Maybe?
It's a demanding series, I can appreciate that. Still, a little more polish goes a long way.
Looking Ahead: Season 6 and Beyond
Of course, this is all just my opinion. You might totally disagree! And that's cool.
Regardless, we’re all excited for Season 6. The War Arc is epic! So many big moments are coming!

Maybe the producers will take the 'episode count' feedback to heart. Or maybe they won't. Time will tell.
Ultimately, My Hero Academia is awesome. I'll keep watching and keep complaining (lovingly, of course!). Because that’s what fans do, right?
What do you think? Did Season 5 have enough episodes? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
"Go beyond! Plus Ultra!" - Probably All Might.
