Beverly Hills 90210 Season 2 Episode 8 Online

Okay, let's talk about Beverly Hills, 90210. Specifically, season 2, episode 8. You know, the one you probably streamed online after school back in the day. Or, you know, yesterday. No judgment here.
I’m ready to admit something controversial.
It's Okay to Skip "Divorce and Repression"
Am I the only one who thinks "Divorce and Repression" isn't exactly the highlight of season 2? It’s…fine. Don’t get me wrong. It's still 90210 goodness.
Must Read
But let's be real. Compared to some of the iconic drama, this episode is a bit of a snoozefest, right?
Brenda's Fashion Choices
Okay, Brenda's clothes. We need to discuss. That whole early 90s, slightly-too-big blazer with shoulder pads thing? It was a look. A very specific look.
I mean, love you, Brenda Walsh, but some of those outfits are questionable by today's standards. Maybe even by 1991's standards.

David's DJ Dreams
And then there’s David Silver. Bless his heart. He's desperately trying to be cool. His DJ aspirations are endearing, in a painfully awkward way.
His "skills" are questionable, but his enthusiasm is 10/10. He really committed to the role. Did anyone actually hire him as a DJ?
The Drama (or Lack Thereof)
This episode focused heavily on the Walsh's parents' friend’s divorce. It all felt a bit…distant. Not as engaging as the high school drama we all craved.
I mean, where were the love triangles? The beach club shenanigans? The questionable decisions made in parking lots?

Still Love 90210, Though!
Don’t get me wrong. I love 90210! I even re-watch it online sometimes (don’t tell anyone!).
The whole series is basically a time capsule of questionable fashion and melodramatic storylines. What’s not to love?
But let's be honest. Some episodes are just more…memorable. More re-watchable. More likely to be discussed at length with your friends over a very large, very 90s-sized soda.

Other Episodes Shine Brighter
Think about "Spring Dance" or "Beach Blanket Brandon." Those are episodes packed with iconic moments. We all remember the iconic spring dance dresses!
Or the drama surrounding that dance at the beach?! This show really knew how to build tension.
“Divorce and Repression,” while important for character development, lacks that same punch. It's just not as quotable.
My (Maybe) Unpopular Opinion
So, here’s my completely subjective and possibly unpopular opinion: It’s okay if you skip "Divorce and Repression" during your next 90210 marathon.

Go ahead, judge me! I'm prepared for the backlash from die-hard fans. I'm ready to debate this until the cows come home!
There are so many other fantastic episodes waiting to be streamed online.
Just don't tell Dylan McKay I said that.
He always knows. He sees everything. (Especially when you're near the beach).
So what do you think? Am I crazy? Do you love "Divorce and Repression"? Let me know! We can argue about it online later. After you finish watching your favorite episode, of course.
