Now, before you brand me a fairy-hater, hear me out. I like Holly. She’s sweet, well-meaning, but that wand? A recipe for disaster.

It’s like giving a toddler a loaded glitter cannon. Adorable, yes. Messy? Incredibly.

Here it comes. I think Holly's magic wand is the real villain of Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom. I said it!

Not Gaston the ladybird (he's just hungry). Not even Nanny Plum (though her spells are equally chaotic). It's that darn wand.

Think about it. Every episode seems to revolve around a magical mishap. A spell gone wrong, a wish misheard, something turning into jelly.

And what's always to blame? You guessed it. That pink, sparkly harbinger of doom!

Wand Malfunctions: A Highlight Reel

Remember that time she accidentally grew a giant strawberry? Or when she turned everyone into frogs? Classic Holly's magic wand moments.

So, what's the solution? Should Holly give up her wand altogether? Probably not.

But maybe a little more practice, a little more supervision, and a whole lot less jelly? That would be a start.
