Beasts In Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

Okay, let's talk Fantastic Beasts. We all love it, right? Magical creatures, quirky characters... what's not to adore?
But I'm here to be that person. The one with the potentially unpopular opinions.
The Niffler: Overrated Klepto?
Everyone loses it over the Niffler. It’s cute, fluffy, and obsessed with shiny things. It steals everything, and everyone laughs.
Must Read
I get it. It's charming. But wouldn't you get incredibly annoyed after the tenth stolen watch? Seriously, Newt, control your pet!
Maybe I just have trust issues. Imagine it cleaning out your bank account. Horrifying!
Bowtruckles: More Than Just Stick Figures
Now, Pickett the Bowtruckle? He's severely underrated. Sure, he has abandonment issues. But he's loyal!

He picks locks, hides in pockets, and has serious anxiety. Who hasn't been there?
Pickett is the real MVP. He's basically our spirit animal in twig form.
Occamys: Size Matters (Apparently)
The Occamy is beautiful, no doubt. Feathers, serpent body, all that jazz. It grows to fit available space.
Here's my beef: what is the point? It's a giant, beautiful, potentially destructive bird. Practicality-wise, a liability.

I mean, keeping one of those in your suitcase seems like a disaster waiting to happen. Just saying.
Demiguise: Invisibility is a Cop-Out
The Demiguise, with its ability to turn invisible, is intriguing. It's ape-like and kinda sad-looking. They are also used to make invisibility cloaks.
But honestly, isn't that just lazy? "Oh, I don't want to deal with this, poof, I'm gone!"
Where's the bravery? The confrontation? Step up, Demiguise! Embrace the awkwardness!

The Thunderbird: Needs Better PR
Frank the Thunderbird. Noble, majestic, causes storms when agitated. Has saved the day many times.
Yet, he’s mostly remembered for Newt releasing him in Arizona. He’s got serious baggage and probably suffers from PTSD.
Frank deserves a better reputation. He's a good bird deep down, even if he does control the weather.
Overall Thoughts: I Still Love Them
Don’t get me wrong, I adore all these creatures. And Newt Scamander? An absolute legend.

But sometimes, a little healthy skepticism is fun. Let's not put every magical beast on a pedestal.
Maybe it’s just me and my overly analytical brain. But even fantastical creatures have flaws, right?
So, who's with me? What are your unpopular Fantastic Beasts opinions?
