Bastard Anime Season 2 Release Date Netflix
Okay, let’s be real for a sec. We all watched Bastard!! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy on Netflix, right?
And we all had…feelings. Strong feelings. Possibly involving questionable fashion choices.
So, Where’s Season 2?!
The question that’s been burning in the back of our minds (along with the existential dread of Monday mornings): Where. Is. Season. Two?
Must Read
Seriously, Netflix, we need answers. We need more Dark Schneider. We need more chaotic magic. And maybe, just maybe, slightly less…fan service?
I know, I know, unpopular opinion. But hear me out!
Theories Abound (Mostly Wishful Thinking)
The internet is a swirling vortex of theories. From production delays (duh) to voice actor availability (plausible) to… Dark Schneider having a scheduling conflict?

Okay, that last one’s mine. I’m sticking to it.
Maybe Netflix is waiting for the perfect time to drop it. Maybe they're building suspense. Or maybe they just forgot. I wouldn’t put it past them.
They have a lot of shows, okay? It’s understandable (sort of).
"Patience is a virtue…especially when waiting for anime." – Some wise (and probably caffeine-deprived) internet user.

My Unpopular Bastard!! Opinion
Okay, brace yourselves. This might sting. I think the first season was… uneven.
There, I said it. Some episodes were fire, others felt… well, like filler episodes designed to sell more merchandise featuring scantily clad sorceresses.
Don’t get me wrong. I love the chaotic energy. But sometimes, less is more. Especially when it comes to, shall we say, certain character designs.
So, here’s my plea to the anime gods (and Netflix executives): Season 2, please give us more plot, more epic battles, and maybe dial down the…everything else.

Focus on the story. Focus on the characters. Focus on the HEAVY METAL, DARK FANTASY part!
What We Actually Want (Besides a Release Date)
Look, we’re not asking for much. We just want a season that lives up to the potential. A season that doesn't feel like it's trying too hard.
More exploration of the world, more development for the side characters (yes, even the ones with questionable outfits!), and a villain who’s actually threatening, not just…annoying.
And please, for the love of heavy metal, give us a release date soon! My Dark Schneider shrine is getting dusty.

Until Then…
So, what do we do while we wait? We rewatch season one (obviously). We read the manga. We create increasingly ridiculous fan theories.
And we refresh the Netflix release schedule every single day. Because hope springs eternal, especially when it comes to anime. Even Bastard!!.
Just promise us, Netflix, when Season 2 finally drops, it’ll be worth the wait. Otherwise, I’m sending Dark Schneider after you.
You’ve been warned.
