Auf Wiedersehen Pet Cast Where Are They Now

Remember Auf Wiedersehen, Pet? Back in the '80s, it was pure telly gold. A bunch of Geordie lads heading to Germany for work. Good times, right?
Whatever Happened to the Lads?
Let's dive in and see where our favourite brickies ended up. Prepare for some surprises! Some have become seriously famous. Others… well, not so much.
Jimmy Nail (Oz Osborne)
Oz was the hard man, no doubt. Jimmy Nail, the actor, wasn't too dissimilar, it seemed. He went on to have a pretty decent music career.
Must Read
Remember "Crocodile Shoes"? Bet it's stuck in your head now. Sorry (not sorry)!
Tim Healy (Dennis Patterson)
Good old Dennis! The peacemaker of the group. Tim Healy is still knocking about on our screens.
He's been in Benidorm and Still Open All Hours. A proper national treasure, if you ask me.

Kevin Whately (Neville Hope)
Neville, the level-headed one. Kevin Whately is probably the most recognizable. He went on to star in Inspector Morse and Lewis.
Detective work suited him, didn't it? Bit different from laying bricks!
Christopher Fairbank (Albert Moxey)
Moxey, the slightly odd one. Christopher Fairbank has popped up in loads of stuff. Guardians of the Galaxy anyone?
Seriously! From Dusseldorf to the Marvel Universe. That's range!

Timothy Spall (Barry Taylor)
Barry, the electronics whiz. Timothy Spall, a proper acting legend. He's been in everything from Harry Potter to Mr. Turner.
Arguably, he's had the most impressive career of the lot. He's certainly a treasure.
Gary Holton (Wayne Winston Norris)
Sadly, Gary Holton, who played Wayne, is no longer with us. He sadly passed away during the original series run. He was a real talent.
He was also a singer in the band Heavy Metal Kids. Gone too soon.

Unpopular Opinion Time!
Okay, brace yourselves. This might ruffle some feathers. I always thought Series 3 wasn't as good.
Bringing them all back together in a different location just didn’t have the same magic. It felt… forced? Let the arguments commence!
The Guest Stars
Let's not forget the brilliant guest stars. People like Peter Vaughan (as Bomber) and Bill Paterson.
The show really had an excellent supporting cast. They made the show what it was!

Auf Wiedersehen, Pet: The Legacy
Auf Wiedersehen, Pet captured something special. It was about friendship, hard work, and a bit of cheeky humour.
It’s stood the test of time. We still watch it and laugh. A true classic.
The cast may have gone their separate ways, but they'll always be remembered as those Geordie brickies. No matter what else they do.
Auf Wiedersehen, Pet will continue to be a classic show. It captured the hearts of the nation.
What are your thoughts? Which character was your favourite? Let me know!
