Okay, let's talk Attack on Titan. Season 4, Episode 4. "From One Hand to Another." Remember that one?

Yeah, the one where we're still stuck in Marley, playing politics.

Honestly? I kind of liked it! Unpopular opinion, I know. Everyone wanted titans smashing stuff, right?

We got nuance instead. Nuance in a show about giant naked people eating other people. Who would've thought?

Where's Eren? That's what I was thinking. Still MIA. Just a few glimpses of him.

Instead, we get Gabi and Falco running around. Dreaming of becoming Armored Titans.

Look, I get it. We miss Eren's brooding. But give these kids a chance!

Gabi. Oh, Gabi. She's... enthusiastic. Maybe too enthusiastic. Ready to die for Marley.

It's admirable. But also a little terrifying. Like, girl, chill. Eat a sandwich.

I almost wanted to root for her. Almost. Her relentless optimism is kind of exhausting, though.

Then there's Falco. Sweet, awkward Falco. Trying to protect Gabi. Bless his heart.

He just wants everyone to be okay. He’s a little ray of sunshine in a very dark world.

Falco's like the kid in class who always reminds the teacher about homework. But you still like him. Because he's genuinely a good person.

This episode really dives into the Warrior program. Basically, Titan Idol. But way more deadly.

Kids competing to inherit titan powers? What could possibly go wrong?

Seriously though, the training is brutal. And the stakes are incredibly high. No pressure, kids!

Here's the thing: I appreciate the world-building in this episode. Seeing the other side of the conflict. Hearing their stories.

It’s not all titans and screaming. Okay, mostly titans and screaming. But there's more to it.

It humanizes (or Marleyan-izes?) the "enemy." Makes everything more complex. Isn't that what good stories are supposed to do?

Sure, the pacing is slower. The action is minimal. But that's okay! We needed a breather.

A breather before all the chaos inevitably explodes. And trust me, it explodes later on.

Maybe I’m alone on this one. Maybe everyone else was bored out of their minds.

But I found it fascinating. Give me political intrigue any day! Well, maybe not any day. But on this day, in this episode, it worked.

So, yeah. Season 4, Episode 4. Not the flashiest. But definitely important. And secretly, a little bit good.
