Attack On Titan Episode 87 Run Time

Okay, let's talk about Attack on Titan. Specifically, Episode 87. And even MORE specifically, its runtime.

That Runtime, Though...

Remember that agonizing wait for the final episodes? The hype was real. The anticipation? Off the charts.

Then BAM! Episode 87 drops. And...it's, well, not quite as long as we imagined.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I'm just gonna say it: I wanted MORE.

Don't get me wrong, the episode was good. Great, even! Peak Attack on Titan, absolutely.

But that runtime! It felt...teasingly short. Like a delicious appetizer when you're starving for a full meal.

Anyone else feel slightly cheated? Just a little? Don't leave me hanging here!

Maybe they could have added five more minutes of Eren brooding. I wouldn't have complained.

Or perhaps an extended action sequence with Mikasa doing what she does best. Just saying!

More monologues? Absolutely! We needed even deeper dives into the characters. We're deep into the story!

Here it comes... brace yourselves. I think Episode 87 could've benefited from being longer.

I'm not saying it needed to be feature-length. But an extra ten, fifteen minutes? Perfection!

Think of all the extra character development we could have squeezed in! More foreshadowing!

More Levi screen time, naturally. The man's a national treasure.

It's like going to a concert and the band only plays their greatest hits. You appreciate it. But you crave something more.

You want the deep cuts! The B-sides! The unreleased material!

I know, I know, animation is hard. And expensive. MAPPA probably worked their butts off.

I appreciate the effort! I truly do.

It's just...with the end so near, I wanted to savor every single second. Every single Titan roar.

Every emotionally-charged stare. Every dramatic reveal.

Maybe I'm just greedy. Maybe I'm demanding too much. But hey, can you blame a girl for wanting more Attack on Titan?

Especially after waiting so long! It's like waiting for Christmas and getting one less present than you expected.

It's still Christmas! You're still grateful. But there's a tiny part of you that's a little...disappointed.

So, there you have it. My controversial take. Episode 87? Amazing. Runtime? Could've been longer.
