Ascendance Of A Bookworm Season 3 Episode 7

Okay, let's talk Ascendance of a Bookworm. Specifically, Season 3, Episode 7. I know, I know, we're probably all caught up by now. But some things need to be said.
First off, can we all agree that Ferdinand is secretly enjoying all this chaos? He pretends to be annoyed, but I see that smirk. Don't think I don't see it, buddy.
My Unpopular Opinion About That Episode
Here it comes, prepare yourselves. I think the noble shenanigans are… actually kind of fun. Gasp! I said it!
Must Read
Everyone complains about the political maneuvering and the backstabbing. And yes, it can be frustrating. But it's also like watching a really elaborate game of chess, with way more passive-aggressive comments.
I mean, come on! Who doesn't love a good power struggle? Especially when it involves ridiculously fancy outfits and dramatic pronouncements.
Don't get me wrong. I'm still firmly on Main's side. She's the adorable chaos muppet we all adore.

The Ferdinand Appreciation Section
Let’s be honest. We're all here for Ferdinand anyway, right? That stoic, blue-haired enigma. He's basically the anime version of a grumpy cat, but with magic.
Every time he sighs dramatically, an angel gets its wings. Or maybe it's just me internally screaming with delight. Either way, it's a win.
And the way he puts up with Main's antics? Pure comedic gold. He's like a babysitter from hell, but secretly he loves her (probably).

Detour: Was That Character Really Necessary?
Okay, minor gripe time. Did anyone else feel like that one new character was... a little pointless? They showed up, caused a mild inconvenience, and then vanished.
I'm not saying every character needs to be a major player. But sometimes it feels like they're just padding out the runtime. More Ferdinand, less random noble number three, please.
Just my two cents. Feel free to disagree. I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason for their existence that I'm completely overlooking.

Back to the Good Stuff
Despite my minor complaints, Episode 7 was still a solid entry. The animation was gorgeous, the music was on point, and the voice acting was superb.
And of course, Main continues to be the most relatable isekai protagonist ever. Who among us hasn't wanted to create a printing press and revolutionize the world?
Just me? Okay then.

The Cliffhanger!
Let's not forget that ending! Talk about leaving us hanging. I'm already counting down the minutes until the next episode.
What's going to happen next? Will Main finally get her library? Will Ferdinand ever crack a real smile? Only time will tell.
In the meantime, I'll be here rewatching the episode and overanalyzing every single scene. Because that's what a true Ascendance of a Bookworm fan does.
So, what are your thoughts on Season 3, Episode 7? Let me know in the comments! But be nice. Remember, we're all bookworms here.
