Ascendance Of A Bookworm Part 4 Volume 3
Okay, let's talk Ascendance of a Bookworm. Part 4 Volume 3, to be precise. I've got some thoughts. Maybe they're controversial. Maybe not!
Ferdinand: Still The Best?
Everyone loves Ferdinand. He's smart, powerful, and ridiculously devoted to Myne. I get it, he's got the brooding mentor thing down pat.
But, am I the ONLY one who thinks he's a little...overbearing? Just a tad controlling? Maybe it's just me!
Must Read
Sylvester's Shenanigans
Poor Sylvester. He tries, he really does. But let's be honest, he's often a hot mess. A lovable, well-meaning hot mess, granted.
This volume really highlighted his flaws. And sometimes, his good intentions cause even bigger problems! I feel bad for him, I do, but I also kind of laugh.
Anyone else secretly enjoy his chaotic energy?

Rozemyne's Never-Ending To-Do List
Rozemyne is, as always, juggling a million things. Printing! Divine duties! Dealing with nobles! Girl just wants to read, for goodness sake!
This volume feels particularly stressful for her. The pressure is mounting, and the stakes are higher than ever. I just want to give her a hug and a library card.
Is it wrong to wish she'd just take a nap sometime? A long one?
Hannelore: Underrated Gem
Hannelore continues to be an absolute sweetheart. She's smart, kind, and genuinely admires Rozemyne. A true friend.

Honestly, I think she deserves her own spin-off series. "Hannelore's Holiday Hijinks," anyone? I'd read it!
She’s too good for this world! We must protect her at all costs.
The Politics! Oh, The Politics!
Okay, the political maneuvering in this volume ramps up big time. Alliances are formed, betrayals are plotted, and everyone's got an agenda. It's exhausting!

Sometimes I just want to fast-forward through the noble scheming. Give me more book printing! More adorable temple shenanigans!
But hey, I know it’s necessary to the plot... Still, snoozefest sometimes!
Unpopular Opinion Time?
Here's my potentially controversial take: I'm not entirely convinced by Rozemyne's unwavering desire to make books for everyone. I mean, it's admirable, sure.
But does everyone really need access to the written word? Maybe ignorance is bliss sometimes! (Don’t hate me!).

Okay, okay, I’m kidding... mostly! But sometimes I wonder!
Overall Verdict
Despite my minor gripes, Part 4 Volume 3 is still fantastic. The world-building is incredible, the characters are compelling, and the story keeps you hooked.
I'm already eagerly awaiting the next installment. More Rozemyne! More Ferdinand (even if he is a little overbearing)! More book printing!
And more Hannelore being awesome. Please!
