Aquella Vez Que Me Convertí En Slime 2

Okay, hear me out. I’ve got something to say about That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2. Buckle up, buttercups!
My Unpopular Slime Opinion
Season 2 was... interesting. Remember when Rimuru was just learning to slurp things up? Now he's basically a god-king. Talk about a glow-up!
Seriously though, who else felt like the pacing was a bit wonky? One minute we're chilling in Tempest, the next... BOOM! War crimes!
Must Read
The Pacing Problem
I get it, story progression is important. But sometimes it felt like we skipped a few steps. Like, did we really understand why everyone suddenly hated humans that much?
And all the new characters! My brain felt like Rimuru trying to absorb all that information at once. It was a bit much, wasn’t it?
Don't get me wrong, I love a good cast of characters. But maybe introduce them gradually? I still can't remember everyone's name and their specific magical ability.
The Power-Up Paradox
Rimuru's power creep is real. He goes from adorable blob to interdimensional being in record time. Is there anything he can't do?

I mean, I'm happy for him and all. But it kind of diminishes the tension, doesn't it? When the hero can solve any problem with a flick of his, uh, pseudopod?
Where's the fun if the stakes feel…fake? Bring back the early season struggle, please!
The Diablo Dilemma
Let's talk about Diablo. Cool character design, undeniably powerful. But also, kinda creepy?
That unwavering loyalty to Rimuru bordered on obsessive. Just me? Maybe.

And honestly, sometimes I couldn't tell if he was being helpful or just flexing his demonic muscles. A little less shadow and a little more substance, please.
The Hinata Hiatus
Okay, Hinata. She's cool, collected, and clearly a formidable opponent. But she disappeared for ages!
Her rivalry with Rimuru was one of the most interesting dynamics in the first season. Then she went on vacation?
Bring back the complicated relationships! More reluctant alliances, less world-ending threats, maybe?

The Endless Exposition
Don't even get me started on the info dumps. I felt like I was back in school, taking notes on interdimensional politics.
I get it, worldbuilding is important. But maybe show, don't tell? We're watching anime, not attending a lecture.
Can we just have some more slime antics? I miss the days when Rimuru was just figuring out how to eat herbs.
In Conclusion: Still Love It (Sort Of)
Look, I'm not saying That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 was bad. It just… wasn't as good as Season 1, in my opinion.

Maybe my expectations were too high. Or maybe I just miss the simpler days of slurp-and-absorb.
Either way, I'm still a Rimuru fan. I'll keep watching, even if it means enduring more exposition dumps and overpowered protagonists. Because deep down, I still believe in the power of slime.
So, what do you think? Am I totally off base? Or did anyone else feel a little… overwhelmed by Season 2?
Let me know your thoughts! And remember, even a slime can have an opinion (even if it's unpopular).
