Apple Tv Plus Still Have To Pay For Movies

Okay, let's be real for a second. Apple TV Plus. Sounds fancy, right?

Like a velvet rope kind of fancy. The kind where you expect everything is just...included.

But then reality hits. And your credit card weeps softly.

We sign up for these streaming services, lured by the promise of endless entertainment. No more pesky trips to the video store! Victory!

But then we scroll. And scroll. And scroll some more. Searching for, well, something to watch.

Suddenly, that shiny new release... requires an extra payment. Cue the dramatic music.

Apple TV Plus. That "Plus" is doing some heavy lifting, isn't it?

I mean, I thought "Plus" meant... more. Like, everything.

Not "Plus... a small fee for anything remotely interesting."

It's like buying a fancy car with "all the extras," and then finding out the steering wheel is optional. And costs extra. A lot extra.

And look, I get it. Making movies and shows costs money. A lot of it, I’m sure!

But, if I'm already paying for the subscription, shouldn't some of the newer movies and shows be included?

Maybe I'm just being a grumpy gus. Perhaps my expectations are unrealistic.

But is it too much to ask that when I pay for a streaming service, I actually get, you know, movies and shows?

Without needing to take out a second mortgage to watch the latest blockbuster.

It's confusing! You're scrolling through Apple TV Plus, thinking "Ah, I'm covered!"

Then BAM! A price tag pops up. It's like a tiny troll jumped out of the screen demanding gold.

And you're left wondering, "Wait, isn't this what I pay for already?"

It's like going to an all-you-can-eat buffet, and then finding out that prime rib costs extra. What?!

Okay, maybe that's a bad analogy. Because I would definitely pay extra for prime rib. But you get my point!

I mean, The Morning Show is great. Really great!

But sometimes, I just want to watch a silly action movie without having to justify another charge to my bank account.

So, here's my unpopular opinion. Maybe Apple TV Plus should actually include more movies.

Or, at the very least, be a little more transparent about what's included and what's not.

Perhaps they could create a special section: "Stuff You're Actually Paying For" and "Stuff You Have to Pay Extra For."

Wouldn't that be refreshing? Honesty in streaming! A revolutionary concept.

In conclusion, I like Apple TV Plus. I really do. Ted Lasso makes me happy.

But the whole "pay extra for movies" thing? It's a little bit of a buzzkill.

Maybe, just maybe, one day the "Plus" will truly mean "Plus everything." Until then, my wallet will continue to weep... softly.

And I'll just keep re-watching Ted Lasso. Again. Because at least that is covered!
