Don't even get me started on the multiple verification texts. My phone thinks I'm attempting to purchase the entire App Store every time I try to download a simple game. "Is this you?" Yes, Apple. It's always me. Desperately trying to avoid boredom during my commute.

The Endless Loop of "Update Your Information"

And the worst part? The vague error messages! "Your purchase could not be completed." Okay, thanks for the detailed explanation, App Store. Very helpful.

You're then directed to a page that basically says, "Update Your Information." As if you haven't already done that approximately 17 times in the last hour.

It's a vicious cycle of updating, verifying, and still being denied access to that new meditation app I desperately need to cope with this very situation.

The "Solutions" That Aren't Really Solutions

The internet is overflowing with "solutions" to this problem. Have you tried turning it off and on again? (Yes, yes I have.) Check your region settings? (Also yes.) Contact Apple Support? (Dear lord, please no.)

Apple support is great, I'm sure. But the thought of navigating their automated system to explain why I can't download a free app makes me want to throw my phone into the nearest body of water.

So, here I sit. Unable to download that brain-training game. My billing information presumably trapped in some sort of digital purgatory. All because the App Store thinks I'm up to no good.

Is It Just Me? Or Is This a Universal Struggle?
