Aot Season 4 Part 2 Number Of Episodes

Okay, let's talk about Attack on Titan. Specifically, Season 4 Part 2. Remember that rollercoaster?
And most importantly, let's talk about the episode count.
The Great Episode Debate
Here's the thing: We all watched. We all screamed at our screens. We all probably needed therapy afterwards. But did Part 2 really need to be just 12 episodes?
Must Read
I know, I know. Unpopular opinion incoming!
Twelve Episodes: Was It Enough?
Twelve episodes is… a number. A perfectly respectable number, even. But with the sheer amount of stuff happening in the final arc, did it feel rushed to anyone else?
Like, we're talking world wars, betrayals, the Rumbling, philosophical debates over genocide... all crammed into twelve bite-sized chunks.
Don’t get me wrong, the animation was gorgeous! The voice acting was superb! But sometimes, I wished they’d just… slowed down.

My Wild (and Probably Wrong) Theory
Maybe… just maybe… a few more episodes could have breathed a little more life into some of the character arcs. Think about it.
We could've seen more of Eren's descent into madness! Or maybe a more nuanced exploration of the Marleyan perspective.
Instead, we got a breakneck sprint to the finish line. Which was exciting, sure. But also a little… overwhelming?
The Pacing Problem
It felt like every episode had to pack in three chapters of the manga. That's a lot of Titan-sized plot to digest!

Remember that one scene where everything changed in a blink of an eye? Yeah, me too!
Sometimes, I just wanted a quiet moment. A moment to process everything. A moment to mourn for all the fallen Survey Corps members.
The "Special" Solution?
Of course, they did the "Final Season Part 3" thing (which was really just two specials). Was that a way to make up for it? Perhaps?
But I feel like it could have been handled more naturally within the framework of Part 2. Just saying.
Maybe spread things out a bit? Is that too much to ask?

Hear Me Out: More Episodes, More Feels
Imagine if we had, say, 15 or 16 episodes in Part 2. We could've had more character development.
More emotional beats that truly landed. More time to understand the complexities of Ymir's backstory.
Okay, maybe that's just my inner fanfic writer talking. But still!
Am I the Only One?
Look, I love Attack on Titan. I really do. I am not hating it!

But I can't help but feel like Part 2 could have benefited from a slightly more relaxed pace. Am I alone in this? Probably.
But hey, at least we got to see Levi kick some serious Titan butt. That’s always a win.
The Verdict (My Unpopular One)
So, twelve episodes? Good. But could have been great. Maybe even… legendary… with just a few more.
Just my two cents. Or maybe just the ramblings of a sleep-deprived AoT fan.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rewatch the series. Again. And probably complain about the pacing. Again.
