And Just Like That Episode 9 Review

Okay, Let's Talk About That Episode.
Episode 9 of And Just Like That… Wow. Just, wow. Did anyone else feel like they needed a palate cleanser after watching?
Don't get me wrong, I’m still tuning in every week. But some of the choices in this episode? Questionable, at best.
The Seema Situation: My Unpopular Opinion.
Seema! I adore her. She's fabulous, she's sassy, and she's rocking outfits I can only dream of affording.
Must Read
But her storyline? Finding love with the jewelry guy? It felt…rushed? Like the writers were checking off a box that said "Give Seema a Man!"
Maybe I'm just bitter because I wanted her to stay single and fabulous. Is that too much to ask?
Carrie's Dating Life: Still a Rollercoaster.
Carrie is dating again. Of course she is. It's And Just Like That, not And Just Knitting Alone.

But the whole pottery throwing thing? I cringed. And not in a good, relatable "I've been there" kind of way. More in a "Please, make it stop" kind of way.
Remember when dating involved witty banter and cosmos? Now it's… clay. I miss the cosmos.
Charlotte's Motherhood Musings: Relatable, Finally!
Okay, Charlotte actually had a storyline I connected with this week. The whole "mom guilt" thing? I feel seen!
Balancing work, kids, and trying to maintain a semblance of sanity is a Herculean task. Thank you, Charlotte, for showing the messy reality.

Maybe she’s not just a Park Avenue princess after all. Though, the Upper East Side princess still appears regularly.
Miranda's Journey: Still Confusing.
Oh, Miranda. What are we doing with you? The Che Diaz saga continues, and I'm still scratching my head.
I'm not saying people can't change or explore their sexuality. But this whole transformation feels… forced? Like a plot device rather than an organic evolution.

And the stand-up comedy? I'm officially requesting a moratorium on Che's performances. My ears (and sense of humor) can't take it anymore.
The Style: Always a Talking Point.
Let's be honest, the fashion is half the reason we watch this show. And this episode didn't disappoint (entirely).
Carrie's quirky ensembles still make me smile. Seema's power suits are aspirational. Charlotte's preppy chic is… well, Charlotte.
But some of the looks felt a little too out there. Like the stylists were trying a bit too hard to be edgy. Remember subtle elegance?

Overall Verdict: A Mixed Bag.
So, episode 9. It had its moments. Some good, some bad, some downright head-scratching.
I'm still invested in these characters and their stories, even if I don't always agree with the direction they're taking.
And hey, at least it gives us something to talk about. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to pour myself a cosmo and rewatch the original series. For nostalgia's sake.
What did you think of the episode? Let me know! (But please be gentle with my unpopular opinions.)
