ANTM Cycle 24: Confessions of a Mildly Obsessed Viewer (Episode 15)
Okay, let's talk about America's Next Top Model, specifically Cycle 24, Episode 15. I know, I know, it's old news. But hear me out!
We're down to the wire. Tears are flowing, photos are being critiqued with the intensity of a Supreme Court hearing, and Tyra is...being Tyra. What's not to love?
The Photo Shoot: Robot Chic
This week's shoot? Futuristic robot glam. Think Metropolis meets high fashion. The models had to pose with drones and metallic outfits. It was definitely a look.
Honestly, some of the photos were stunning. Others? Well, let's just say they looked like they were having a bad day at a robot factory.
Remember when Jeana Turner had that amazing shot? I thought she nailed the robotic vibe while still looking human. She really brought the expression that Tyra kept on telling them about.
The Challenge: Walk This Way (On Repeat)
The challenge involved walking...a lot. Like, seriously, a ridiculous amount of walking. It was basically a marathon in heels. Ouch!
'America’s Next Top Model’ Sneak Peek: Tyra Reveals First Best Photo
They had to walk this really long runway over and over. Tyra was judging them at every angle.
Can we all agree that walking in heels for hours is a form of torture? I'd rather face a room full of spiders. Just saying.
My "Unpopular" Opinion: Khrystyana Deserved More
Okay, brace yourselves. Here comes the controversial part. I think Khrystyana Kazakova was robbed!

Yes, she wasn't always the most polished. And, yes, Tyra didn't always love her photos.
But she was so unique! And her personality shone through in every shot. She was a breath of fresh air in a world of manufactured perfection. I felt she brought a level of realness that was needed.
I felt that her authenticity was her superpower!

Maybe it's because I'm tired of the same old beauty standards. Or maybe it's because Khrystyana reminded me of myself: a little awkward, a little quirky, but trying her best. Either way, I was rooting for her.
The Judging Panel Shenanigans
Speaking of judging, the panel was...interesting. Law Roach was giving those killer critiques. Drew Elliott was there, being...Drew Elliott. And Tyra Banks was bringing the drama.
I love how passionate Tyra is about the show, even if her critiques sometimes make me scratch my head. She never fails to keep me entertained though!
America's Next Top Model Cycle 24
Did anyone else think some of the critiques were a bit harsh? I mean, these are young women trying to make their dreams come true. A little encouragement goes a long way, folks.
Overall Thoughts: Still Addicted
Despite my gripes, I'm still hooked on ANTM. It's a guilty pleasure. A reminder that even in the world of high fashion, there's room for drama, tears, and questionable poses.
And let's be honest, who doesn't love a good makeover montage? Those are the best part of the show!
So, yeah, Cycle 24, Episode 15: a mixed bag of robot chic, endless walking, and questionable judging. But hey, that's why we watch, right?
