American Ninja Warrior Junior Season 3 Episode 4

Did Anyone Else Think This on American Ninja Warrior Junior?
Okay, let's talk American Ninja Warrior Junior. Specifically, Season 3, Episode 4. Did anyone else watch it and think the same thing I did?
I'm just going to say it. I might get flamed for this. It's an unpopular opinion, but I gotta get it off my chest!
The Course is Tricky...But
Look, I get it. The course is designed to be tough. It's American Ninja Warrior, after all.
Must Read
But sometimes, I feel like the obstacles are a little... unfair? Like, teeny tiny adjustments could make a HUGE difference.
And honestly, sometimes I think the kid-sized versions are harder! Those tiny grips? My adult hands would struggle!
The Real Stars: The Commentators
I have to give major props to the commentators. They're amazing! They know just what to say.
The energy is contagious, and they’re surprisingly insightful about the ninja techniques. Plus, their jokes are actually funny. Can we get them on the adult version?!

Seriously, sometimes I think I watch just for their commentary. Don't tell the ninjas that!
The 'Slow-Mo' Obsession
Anyone else notice the slow-motion replays? Like, CONSTANTLY.
We get it. Little Mia almost fell. Let's move on! I understand they want to show off the athleticism.
But sometimes it feels a bit much. I’m starting to feel dizzy. Give us some regular speed action!

My (Slightly) Controversial Take on the Victory Bell
Here's where I might lose some of you. The Victory Bell. It's the ultimate goal. Ring that bell and claim victory!
It's a great visual, and the kids are SO excited. But... is it too much pressure?
Maybe it’s just me, but seeing some of those amazing ninjas get so upset when they almost make it to the bell breaks my heart. They’re all winners in my book. They all deserves a hug!
And Another Thing...The Uniforms!
Okay, a minor thing, but the uniforms. Some are awesome! Others...not so much.

I appreciate the self-expression, but occasionally, I'm a little distracted. One kid wore a full dinosaur costume once. Good for him!
But I was too busy wondering how he could see to root him on properly. Practicality, people!
The Parent Interviews: A Rollercoaster
The parent interviews are... a ride. Some are super supportive and sweet. Others... are a bit intense.
I'm not judging! I'm sure I'd be a mess if my kid was up there. I have to give credit to these _parents_, though!

But sometimes, I think, "Maybe dial it back a notch, Mom/Dad?" Just a thought.
Overall, Still Addicted!
Despite my minor gripes, I adore American Ninja Warrior Junior. These kids are incredible.
Their strength, determination, and sportsmanship are truly inspiring. They make me want to get off the couch and try an obstacle course!
(Okay, maybe just think about trying one). Anyone else feel the same? Or am I totally alone in my
"unpopular opinions?"Let me know!
