American Ninja Warrior Junior Season 1 Episode 1

Tiny Ninjas, HUGE Fun (and My Confessions!)
Okay, let's be honest. I totally judged American Ninja Warrior Junior before I watched it. I thought, "Kids doing obstacle courses? How hard could it be?"
Then I watched Season 1, Episode 1. Boy, was I wrong! Seriously, these kids are amazing.
The Course: Not as Easy as it Looks (Probably)
First off, the course looks intimidating. The Warped Wall? The Floating Steps? I'd probably fall on my face trying to climb the stairs.
Must Read
Even the balance beam looked tricky. It's a lot harder than it looks. I bet I could complete the course, that is if it's on my XBOX with assist mode.
Those kids made it look easy. And that's what is amazing to watch.
The Contestants: Future Superstars?
The kids in this episode were so determined. They were like mini-athletes, focused and driven.

One of my favorites was Drew. Talk about a little powerhouse! He was so confident. I loved seeing him destroy the course.
And the support they showed each other? Heartwarming! Even the toughest competitors were cheering each other on. That's a lesson more adults could learn.
My Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves!)
Here it comes... I think American Ninja Warrior Junior is more entertaining than the adult version sometimes.

Why? Because the kids are so genuine! They’re not worried about sponsorships or fame. They just want to conquer the course and have fun. This is something missing from other contest.
Plus, the commentary is hilarious!
"He's got the grip of a gorilla!"I lost it when they said that.
The Fails (We All Love a Good Fail, Right?)
Okay, I admit it. I chuckled when someone slipped on the Floating Steps. Not because I'm mean but because it's relatable! Who hasn’t had an epic fail?
It’s a reminder that even the most skilled ninjas aren’t perfect. It's about getting back up and trying again, and these kids have that spirit in spades.

One of the biggest slip was on the Warped Wall. It’s hard even when you're a grown-up, so you can only imagine how it would be to a kid.
The Victories (So Satisfying!)
But the wins? Oh man, the wins are so satisfying! Seeing a kid reach the buzzer, knowing they've accomplished something amazing, that is amazing to see.
The smile on their face, the cheers from the crowd... It’s pure joy. It made me want to try it myself!

Maybe I'll stick to watching for now, though. My knees aren't what they used to be.
Final Verdict: Totally Addicted
So, yeah, I’m hooked. American Ninja Warrior Junior is fun, inspiring, and surprisingly entertaining.
It's a show the whole family can enjoy. And it makes me wish I had a ninja course in my backyard. This is a show that I can watch with my kids.
Bring on Season 2! And maybe some knee pads for me. Just in case.
