American Horror Story Season 6 Episode 10 Cast

So, the finale of American Horror Story: Roanoke (Season 6) landed, and wow, what a wild ride it was! Let's talk about who survived (spoiler alert: not many!) and the familiar faces we saw, some in completely bonkers situations.
The Returning Crew
We had our queen, Sarah Paulson, back, naturally. She played Lana Winters again, yes, the same iconic interviewer from "Asylum." This time, she's interviewing Lee Harris, played by Adina Porter, the sole survivor of the Roanoke nightmare.
Adina Porter was the star. Her portrayal of Lee going from haunted survivor to desperate mom on trial was captivating. She nailed every scene.
Must Read
And of course, we saw Evan Peters, in archive footage. His role as Rory Monahan and Edward Phillipe Mott might be brief, but his presence still adds value.
Other Familiar Faces Pop Up
Taissa Farmiga was back! Sadly, it was only as a fan of Lana Winters who was brutally killed.

Cheyenne Jackson also made appearance, as a TV producer who was interviewing Lana Winters. His character added another layer of depth to the Roanoke tale.
Wes Bentley also made an appearance as Dylan. He's sent to save Lee but gets captured by the Polk Family.
New Faces, New Nightmares
One of the most memorable additions was the Butcher, played by Kathy Bates. While Kathy Bates was present in other episodes, this finale really dug deep into her character. She brought a whole new level of intensity to the show.

The episode delved into the darker side of fan obsession, with characters like those played by DeRon Horton and Emma Roberts. Both are obsessed with the paranormal activities around the Roanoke house.
We saw characters obsessed with Roanoke who met gruesome ends. Let's just say things didn’t end well for them. The show definitely cranked up the gore in this finale.

The Shock Factor
The Lana Winters interview segment felt like a meta-commentary on the show itself. Paulson's performance as the seasoned journalist added a layer of self-awareness to the episode.
The episode was filmed with shaky camera footage. The shaky cam style gave the episode a really unnerving and raw feel. It's like you were right there, in the middle of the chaos.
The violence was graphic, and deaths were brutal. It wasn't for the faint of heart. AHS never shies away from pushing boundaries, and this finale was no exception.

Why It Worked (or Didn't)
The finale did what a good AHS finale should: left you disturbed and vaguely unsatisfied. Some people loved the chaos and gore. Others found it a bit too much.
Seeing Lana Winters back in action was fantastic. It's always a treat when the show brings back characters from previous seasons. It's like a little Easter egg for long-time fans.
Ultimately, the cast of this episode, old and new, delivered some truly unforgettable performances. It was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions. The Roanoke season will definitely leave the audience thinking long after the credits roll.
