American Horror Story Season 3 Episode 6 Cast

Okay, let's talk American Horror Story: Coven, specifically episode six. You know, the one where things REALLY start to get witchy-crazy?
The Usual Suspects (Who We Adore)
First, we gotta bow down to Jessica Lange as Fiona Goode. Queen supreme, even when she's being a total nightmare. I'd probably let her hex me, honestly. Unpopular opinion: her outfits in this season are iconic. I need that wardrobe.
Then there's Sarah Paulson as Cordelia. Always the good girl, always suffering. You just want to give her a hug and maybe a stronger cocktail. Did anyone else think her storyline was slightly less interesting than the others? Don't @ me!
Must Read
And of course, Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery. Snarky, selfish, and seriously quotable. "Surprise, bitch. I bet you thought you'd seen the last of me." Pure gold. I secretly wanted her to win, just for the chaos.
New Faces (and Some Familiar Ones)
Episode six brings us closer to some other key players. Like Angela Bassett as Marie Laveau. Talk about a powerful presence! Who else was terrified and impressed at the same time?

Kathy Bates as Delphine LaLaurie is just... chefs kiss. Horrifying, yes, but also strangely compelling. She makes those torture scenes oddly watchable, right? (Don't judge me!).
We see more of Denis O'Hare as Spalding. Silent, creepy, and weirdly loyal. Anyone else think he was a total creep, but in a strangely endearing way? Maybe it's just me.

Side Characters Stealing the Show
Let’s not forget Gabourey Sidibe as Queenie. Her powers were amazing. I love that she was just trying to find herself.
And Jamie Brewer as Nan. Sweet Nan who just wanted to be heard. Her character deserved so much better! Don't you agree?
Even brief appearances by actors like Lance Reddick added to the episode's atmosphere. His calm presence juxtaposed against the crazy was brilliant.

The "Wait, They Were In This?" Moments
Sometimes you rewatch and go, "Oh yeah! That person!" Maybe someone like, oh, I don't know, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo from a future AHS star? I am not giving spoilers.
It's fun to see actors in smaller roles before they become big names. Or when they have a really wild transformation!

Overall Thoughts on the Cast of Episode 6
This episode cemented the season's amazing ensemble. The chemistry between the actors was undeniable.
Coven had a lot of problems. But casting wasn’t one of them. Every single actor was perfectly cast.
Ultimately, the cast of American Horror Story: Coven episode six is what makes it so memorable. Even if you didn't love the storyline (and some people didn't), you can't deny the talent on screen. And maybe, just maybe, I need a black hat like Fiona's.
