American Horror Story Season 10 Episode 1 Watch

Okay, people, gather 'round! Let's talk about the absolute scream-fest that was the first episode of American Horror Story: Double Feature, specifically the "Red Tide" part. Prepare for spoilers, but more importantly, prepare for some seriously wild reactions.
Cape Cod Chaos Begins
So, we're dropped into Provincetown, Massachusetts, a place that seems charming on the surface. But you just know something's about to go sideways. It's American Horror Story, after all! Charm lasts approximately five seconds.
We meet Harry, the struggling writer. He's got a severe case of writer's block, and his pregnant wife, Doris, is along for the ride. Honestly, starting a family and dealing with this town? Good luck to them both!
Must Read
The Locals are...Interesting
The townies are a special breed. Pale, intense, and obsessed with their craft. I swear, every conversation felt like a veiled threat. It's like everyone’s auditioning for a role in a remake of Children of the Corn.
Sarah Paulson shows up as Tuberculosis Karen. Yes, you read that right. And she delivers every line with the perfect amount of creepy. You just know she's going to cause problems. She always does!

And then there's Evan Peters as Austin Sommers. Let's just say he's not exactly helping Harry feel welcome. More like actively trying to scare him back to New York. Mission accomplished, buddy!
The Black Pills: A Muse or a Monster?
Here's where things get truly bonkers. Harry discovers these little black pills. Apparently, they unlock your creative potential but also turn you into a pale, lipstick-smearing, blood-thirsty artist. Art is pain, right? But this is a bit much.

Harry takes one. Of course he does! He's desperate. And suddenly, the words are flowing! He's writing like a madman. But at what cost? Probably his sanity. And maybe his neighbors.
The episode makes a pretty bold statement about artists and inspiration. Is genius worth sacrificing your morals? I'm just saying, I'd rather have a blank page than a thirst for human blood. Just me, maybe?
Doris' Dilemma
Poor Doris. She's just trying to decorate their new house and support her husband. But she's also witnessing his descent into madness. Plus, she's pregnant in a town where everyone seems to be auditioning for a vampire movie.

It doesn't help that she's an interior designer and apparently has ZERO artistic talent according to the pill-popping locals. Talk about pressure!
I'm genuinely worried about her. She's the only sane one in this whole mess. Someone get her a strong cup of tea and a plane ticket out of there ASAP.

Cliffhanger Central
The episode ends with Harry embracing his inner bloodsucker artist. Doris is terrified. And the audience is left screaming at their TVs. Classic American Horror Story.
We don't know exactly what's going to happen next, but you just know it's not going to be pretty. More blood, more pale people, and probably a whole lot of questionable life choices. I, for one, am absolutely here for it!
Overall, a solid start to the season. Great acting, creepy atmosphere, and a healthy dose of WTF moments. American Horror Story: Double Feature is off to a wild start and I can't wait to see where this Red Tide takes us. Bring on the next episode!
