American Horror Story Season 1 Episode 2 Cast

Okay, let's talk about American Horror Story Season 1, Episode 2. You know, "Home Invasion?" We're focusing on the cast today. Prepare for some (possibly) controversial opinions!
The Harmon Family: Still Annoying Me (Slightly)
Dylan McDermott as Ben Harmon
Listen, Dylan McDermott is a handsome dude. But Ben Harmon? So dense! He's supposed to be a therapist. I'm not buying it.
Maybe that's the point. Is it an unpopular opinion to find him frustrating? I stand by it.
Must Read
Connie Britton as Vivien Harmon
Connie Britton always delivers. But Vivien? Trapped in a haunted house with a cheating husband. Yikes.
She's definitely the most relatable of the Harmons. Even when dealing with all the ghosts.
Taissa Farmiga as Violet Harmon
Ah, Violet. The angsty teen. Is it just me or was everyone obsessed with Violet back then? I liked her dark humor.

I will say, Taissa Farmiga nailed the role. Even if Violet's storyline was a little... much. I can relate to that, though.
The Ghosts: The Real Stars of the Show
Evan Peters as Tate Langdon
Okay, I know, I know. Tate. Everyone loves Tate. He's the quintessential "bad boy" ghost, right?
Don't get me wrong, Evan Peters is brilliant. But Tate? I find him slightly overrated, sorry. He did some seriously messed-up stuff.
Don't @ me!

Jessica Lange as Constance Langdon
Now this is a queen. Jessica Lange as Constance? Iconic. End of discussion.
She steals every scene she's in. Even when she's just baking a questionable-looking pie. Constance makes this show so good.
Denis O'Hare as Larry Harvey
Creepy Larry! Denis O'Hare is a master of unsettling characters. He makes my skin crawl.
He does a great job playing Larry, though. It is a testament to his talent. Even if Larry's motivations are... questionable.

The Other Inhabitants: Briefly Noted
Alexandra Breckenridge as Young Moira O'Hara
Young Moira! Seductive and mysterious. She definitely adds another layer of weirdness to the house.
Alexandra Breckenridge's portrayal is great. She is alluring and creepy at the same time.
Frances Conroy as Moira O'Hara
Frances Conroy is amazing in everything. I love seeing her get her roles, whether she is alive or dead.

She adds to the overall eeriness of the house.
Final Thoughts: Still Hooked!
Even with my "controversial" opinions, I still love this episode. The cast is fantastic. Ryan Murphy and the writers did a great job setting up the season's horror.
What do you think? Am I completely off-base with my takes? Let me know, please! Don't be afraid to share your opinions. Even if they are the opposite of mine.
American Horror Story is always a fun ride. Get ready for the next episode!
