Alvin And The Chipmunks Theodore's Life As A Dog

Okay, hear me out. I have a theory. A slightly crazy, but totally believable theory. It's about Theodore. Alvin and the Chipmunks' Theodore. And... dogs.
Specifically, my theory is that Theodore lives his life like a dog.
Evidence Number One: The Cuteness Overload
Let's be real. Theodore is ridiculously cute. He's got that perpetually innocent look. Like a golden retriever puppy who just chewed your favorite shoes but can't possibly be blamed.
Must Read
And who is always happy to see you? Theodore! Jumping, excited... tail wagging (metaphorically, of course. Chipmunks don't have tails like that).
Exhibit B: Food, Glorious Food!
Dogs love food. It's a universal truth. And guess who else does? You guessed it – Theodore.
He's always ready for a snack. He would eat anything! Simon might overthink it, Alvin plots mischief, but Theodore is just enjoying the meal.

He's the furry equivalent of a vacuum cleaner when it comes to leftovers.
Loyalty, a Chipmunk's Best Friend
Dogs are known for their unwavering loyalty. And Theodore? Super loyal! To his brothers, to Dave, even to random squirrels he probably shares his nuts with.
He's always there to support his friends. Even when Alvin is pulling some insane stunt.

Sleepyhead Supreme
Dogs love naps. They can sleep anywhere, anytime, any position. Sounds familiar? Theodore is the sleeping champion of the chipmunk trio.
He's always ready for a cuddle. I bet if you let him, he would happily sleep at the end of your bed. He's practically begging for belly rubs.
Unconditional Love and Forgiveness
A dog forgives instantly. They don’t hold grudges. They just want to play fetch and get head scratches.

And Theodore? He has the biggest, most forgiving heart of any animated rodent I know. Alvin could literally tie him to a kite and launch him into space, and Theodore would still be ready to bake him cookies later.
The Verdict: Case Closed
So, there you have it. My argument for why Theodore Seville is basically a dog in chipmunk clothing. Or fur. Whatever.
Maybe it's just his personality. Maybe it's the way he's animated. Or maybe, just maybe, he secretly dreams of chasing squirrels in a park off-leash.

I am willing to die on this hill. Theodore is the canine spirit animal of the Alvin and the Chipmunks universe.
Don't @ me. Except, do. Tell me I'm wrong. I dare you!
Unless... you kind of see it too? Are you nodding along right now? Did you also think that Theodore is living his life like a pup?
Welcome to the club. We have treats!
