All Transformers In Revenge Of The Fallen

All Transformers In Revenge Of The Fallen

Okay, let's dive headfirst into the metal mayhem that was Revenge of the Fallen. So many robots, so little screen time for most of them! Remember when you first saw it? Probably overwhelmed, right?

Autobots Assemble! (Sort Of)

We've got Optimus Prime, of course. Mr. "I'll take on five Decepticons at once and still have time for a dramatic one-liner." He's the dependable, if slightly preachy, leader we all know and love (or maybe find a tad boring?).

Then there's Bumblebee. Still the best, fight me! Loyal, brave, and communicates through radio snippets? Perfection.

Ironhide: the weapons specialist. Always ready for a good fight. Never gets the cool one liner, sad.

Don't forget Ratchet! The medic. Usually patching up everyone else. Seems like a thankless job, honestly.

And the twins, Skids and Mudflap. Okay, unpopular opinion: I didn't hate them. Were they... problematically written? Yeah, probably. But they brought some much-needed comic relief, even if it was a little cringey.

Introducing Sideswipe. Skating around on those wheel-feet was pretty awesome. Wish he got more to do.

New Autobots on the Block

Jolt: The forgotten Autobot. Remember him? Yeah, me neither. Did he even say anything?

Jetfire, the grumpy old man Transformer. Joining the good guys. He makes the ultimate sacrifice for Optimus. Cool character with a weird alt mode.

Decepticon Destruction!

Let's talk about the bad guys, shall we? Starting with Megatron. Back from the dead (again!). Still angry. Still wants the AllSpark (or what's left of it).

Starscream, the ultimate backstabber. Seriously, is anyone surprised he tried to overthrow Megatron again?

The Fallen himself! Supposedly the big bad. Did he live up to the hype? Debatable. He gets offed pretty quickly.

Soundwave! He is a satellite. Still cool. Send Laserbeak to spy.

Ravage. The sneaky kitty Decepticon. Always lurking in the shadows. He did get to take out Jetfire.

And let's not forget Scorponok. Briefly seen at the beginning of the movie. Did...anything...?

The Constructicons: More Than Meets the Eye (Literally)

The Constructicons! Combining to form the mighty Devastator. That scene of him climbing the pyramid? Pretty epic, even if his wrecking balls are his… well, you know.

We see several Constructicons. Such as Scrapper, Long Haul, Rampage and Mixmaster, all playing their roles in Devastator.

Overload the final constructicon. He adds to Devastator's power. These guys form Devestator and get taken out pretty fast.

Other Notable Decepticons

Sideways. Briefly appears. Gets taken out by Sideswipe. So quick.

Grindor, looking suspiciously like Blackout from the first movie. Recycled character alert!

Alice. A Pretender! Seduces Sam Witwicky. Creepy.

Seriously, there were so many Decepticons that were there just to get blown up. Cannon fodder bots, I feel for you.

So there you have it. A whirlwind tour of the Transformers in Revenge of the Fallen. Overstuffed? Absolutely. But hey, at least there were giant robots punching each other. What's not to love (or at least tolerate)?
